“Good delivery and well packaged and presented. We have only tried one portion so far but it was delicious and 1 breast easily fed 2 of us, so the freezer is not well stocked.”

“Just enjoyed another fabulous delivery from Herb Fed, the quality of everything is just superb as always. We love the whole chickens, but the quality of the butchery on pieces like supremes and chicken thighs is really noticeable too - Christmas shout-out to the Herb Fed butchery team! Genuinely excited about the Christmas turkey now.”

“Honestly, this is the best chicken I have ever had. We absolutely love eating them and they are worth every penny. The flavour is so rich and deep and it also make unbelieveable soup too.”

“I ordered one of the chicken boxes which arrived safely on the date given. The day after it arrived we roasted one of the whole chickens which was absolutely delicious, it cooked perfectly and was moist and tender with a wonderful flavour. Even nicer than the free range chickens we get from our local producer. The rest has gone into the freezer, split into smaller packs. Im sure he thighs, breasts and diced meat will be just as nice. I'm very pleased with the quality of service and the meat and will order again. The only thing that for me was not perfect was the polystyrene included in the packaging. I can see that it was useful to add sturdiness to the box and was chiefly used for its insulating properties for the journey, but perhaps a more sustainable solution could be considered, such as sheep's wool packaging? All in all though, a great experience.”

“Ordered a few whole chickens and had one the other day and it was delicious! Far better than supermarket ones. The delivery was dropped off at a totally different address in our village but luckily the people knew us. Nothing to do with The Herb Fed folk …. DPD! Need I say more?.”

“I bought the chicken cushion and it took me back 50 years to what chicken used to tase like. It did however take a lot longer to cook than recommended and I used a cooking thermometer to check.”

“Quite simply the best chicken breasts in the U.K. Average weight is around 320g per breast which compared to the tiny supermarket offerings of 200g are huge, and therefore more tender on cooking. We share one between us for a main meal, and this makes a meal as economical as the insipid supermarket versions. We need farmers like these guys who specialise in being great at one thing, and excel at it.”

“Very tasty chicken. Have had a couple of deliveries. Also good to see our local butcher is selling herb fed chicken too. So good to know that animal welfare is high on the list. Quality still counts. It's not all about the price. Well done Edward & Emma and team. Thank you”
