“We bought a Herb fed Cockerel for Christmas lunch having never had this bird previously. Oh boy, simply amazing. Texture is different to chicken and a million times better than turkey. The moisture of the meat was phenomenal and the flavour delicious. The mixture of brown to white meat was great. All I can say is this will be our go to bird each Christmas unless we select a totally different meat. I can't speak more highly of it.”

“Ordered a Christmas Rooster, for Christmas Lunch. Received a Rooster with a "use by" date of Christmas Eve. No option, but to assume it was a "typo". Very anxious time cooking a Christmas lunch for six, O.K. in the end, but couldn't contact anyone for re-assurance, and had no time to purchase a replacement.”

Dear David, We are very sorry that there was a type-o on the use-by date. I know Zoe has been in touch and we are delighted all the family enjoyed the meal and appreciate the feedback.

“Wonderful turkey. This is our second year and we don’t plan to change next time . At first we thought the birds were expensive, but one bite and you realise they’re worth every penny”

“Our first Herb Fed Ltd rooster was bought Dec '20 from Airton Farm Shop. Unable in 2021 to travel to Airton for health reasons following my husband's recent stroke we wanted a rooster again this Christmas. So, I decided to buy direct. All arrived on time, well packaged and the rooster was once again excellent. I shall continue to buy from you and have already recommended you to others Thankyou so much. Gillian Anderson”
