“The rooster that we had for our Christmas 2024 dinner was amazing! It arrived on time via DPD and was extremely well packaged. It really was a superb celebration bird with a lovely texture and flavour. We will definately be ordering again for next Christmas and may even order a few bits during the year. Hapy New Year!”

“Christmas Rooster from Herb Fed for second successive year, don't think we will ever go back to Turkey. Rooster is so flavoursome and doesn't dry out the way turkey easily can. We had the Rooster with all the trimmings Christmas day and the left over made delicious sandwiches and finally a really tasty curry. Can't recommend highly enough.”

“Very impressive packing and a comprehensive package with recipes and herbs extra. My only comment is that the cooking times were a little light as I expected and we had to put the turkey back in for an extra 30 minutes but it worked out fine. Thanks!”

“Ordered the rooster for Christmas and we were blown away by the quality. Truly the best Christmas bird we’ve ever had. It was so flavoursome, juicy and tender, and there was loads for leftovers. I’ll definitely be ordering again next Christmas. Highly recommended!”

“I purchased a rooster. It arrived on time in good packaging. The bird itself was huge, but exactly what I ordered. It cooked exactly to the instructions given, during cooking it smelt delicious. I cooked it with a lattice of streaky bacon across the breast with plenty of s and p. I put the bundle of herbs that came with the rooster in its cavity. I roasted it on a trivet of veg. It's taste is delicious”

“I ordered a rooster for Christmas and was slightly nervous in case it didn't arrive, but Herb Fed kept ,e up to date with what was happening and it arrived on the 23rd just as they had promised. It was delicious. Also liked the fact that I was buying from the farm direct.”

“Our 2nd year of buying the Herb Fed large chickens for Christmas dinner. Absolutely superb. They come in a pack of 2, so have one for Christmas dinner and freeze the other for New Years Day dinner. Delicious, lovely and moist and taste fabulous. Will be putting our order if for next year!”
