“I could not think of a better strap line for Herb Fed Limited than "For A Bird With Taste". The Christmas rooster we ordered was without doubt the best tasting bird we have had. It had arrived perfectly packaged, and exactly as expected. I could not fault the ordering process or any subsequent communication from the Herb Fed team. It is a pleasure to support a business who strive to do things right from start to finish.”

“As always, a very tasty Christmas Rooster . We have been buying them for quite a few years now. Extremely tasty and a good size the family absolutely love it . A very good alternative to Turkey. Herb fed Ltd and their staff are so dedicated to looking after/welfare of their birds. Fantastic as always thank you.”

“First time we have had cockerel for Christmas lunch, but won’t be the last! Apart from the bird going astray for a few hours on delivery, all went smoothly and we all really enjoyed tucking into it on Christmas Day. Plenty of meat, moist, full of flavour and much nicer than turkey, a real treat! Same again next year for sure!”

“Never being a fan of Turkey we decided to give this site a try. The whole process was perfect from the easy ordering to the perfectly packaged delivery. As we had 14 for dinner we ordered two herb fed chickens, these were both a lovely weight between 2.5-3 kg and just so plump and meaty, both birds cooked lovely and were absolutely gorgeous, such succulent tasty meat which ended up doing over 30 meals before we boiled down the carcasses to make a broth which did another 8 meals and tasted amazing. We have already said we are going to order again for next Christmas, highly recommend.”

“What Kobe is to beef Herb Fed is to poultry. Pampered animals make happy humans. It’s obvious that the birds are treated as you’d like them done, beautifully treated from hatchling to beautiful special guest gracing your table. The birds are obviously carefully prepared and boxed for shipment so they arrive fresh and in top form. The compliments I’ve received from serving turkey and hen and rooster chickens are reason enough to continue buying from Herb Fed. (And as a small evidence of quality, the detailed cooking instructions and recipes included with every bird inspire confidence, even if you’re not used to cooking whole birds. Emma’s stuffing recipe is perfect.)”

“Given that we were only going to be 6 people for Christmas Lunch on December 25th, I went out on a Limb and instead of my usual large Turkey from Herb Fed (always delicious), I opted for their special offer of a Rooster this year. It did not disappoint. The meat was succulent and tasty and the legs had a lot more meat on them than a more conventional chicken. It's great to know that I can always rely on Herb Fed to produce the best quality birds and will be ordering from them again next Christmas - be it Turkey, Rooster or any other poultry. Herb Fed has proved to be one of my best finds ever.”
