“Christmas rooster excellent - plump and tasty”

“Our boned and rolled turkey was gorgeous and simple to cook. Unfortunately the delivery by DPD was disgraceful. We were both in at the time given but nobody rang the doorbell and the turkey was left on our FRONT doorstep for all to see. We had designated our back porch as our safe place. We completed DPD's survey and told them this but we never heard back. But your firm was excellent.”

“Probably our 4th year in a row getting a Rooster for Christmas. For anyone who doesn't fancy turkey or looking for a change on Christmas, highly recommend the Rooster! Great service as always and delivered on time to your door. See you again next year lol!”

“We have had chicken for Christmas dinner for a lot of years now but this was the first time using Herb Fed (found a flyer at New Sheepfold farm while out walking) and we were very impressed. A gorgeously succulent bird with lots of flavour, even our 22 year-old son was actually moved to comment on how tasty it was (praise indeed!). Great to see sustainable packaging as well.”

“I’ve bought herb-fed chicken multiple times now and the quality has been consistently excellent. The meat is noticeably better than standard supermarket chicken - better texture, richer flavour, and it cooks beautifully without releasing excess water. You can tell it’s been raised properly. What really sets them apart is the sustainability and care behind the product. Knowing the chicken is herb-fed and responsibly brought up makes it a genuinely better choice. It’s the kind of produce that justifies the price because the difference is tangible. This has become a repeat purchase for me, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone who cares about quality, ethics, and taste.”

“Delivery and packaging was perfect very fresh bird and very large. Cooking instructions were perfect I normally brine the bird no need with this bird. Breast meat succulent two days after cooking very pleased with this bird.”
