“This is some very tasty chicken. The whole bird was particularly nice. I wish they’d found a less wasteful way of packaging it, but of course with raw flesh safety is paramount.”

“The communication about delivery time was excellent. The packaging was excellent, with the chicken delivered very cold, even in summer. The product itself was also excellent. I bought 12kg of chicken thighs and I was so pleased with the quality, so much higher than supermarkets sell. I will definitely purchase again.”

“a great idea to buy free range herb fed poultry unfortunately this company has never heard of the climate crisis, about how plastic is destroying our oceans. they sent me my product wrapped in a tsunami of plastic. I have NEVER seen anything like it. I cut one clear plastic bag open and in side was another I cut that open inside was another and so it went on like a Russian fabusae egg unbelievable. I was not expecting this from this company ironic and sad. I would say however that the meat was good. nothing wrong there, just won't use them again because I don't need to kill the planet to eat.”

Thank you for your feedback - We are really pleased you enjoyed our chicken. Our packaging is something that we are looking into as we are conscious of the planet and our footprint. It is something that is proving tricky in terms of balancing performance of keeping poultry chilled in summer during delivery and in perfect condition versus costs. There are some wonderful products on the market but the costs are very high currently and would make an order cost prohibitive for many. “Extremely impressed with the flavour of the roast chicken that I cooked on day of receipt. Also the size of the chicken breasts and feel that it is definitely value for money. Will be placing another order soon and I don't think I will be going back to supermarket chicken again.”

“Arrived beautifully packed and great service . Wasn’t a lover of the diced leg meat as it had far to much sinew on . The chicken roasted lovely but wasn’t the softest I have had . It was still very nice .”

“This Herb Fed chicken tastes delicious; just as I remember from my childhood when a chicken Sunday dinner was a special treat. It cooks up moist and tender. The chicken box is such good value, the ordering and delivery very smooth. I don’t hesitate to recommend Herb Fed Poultry.”
