“We bought a 2.5kg chicken for a Sunday lunch with friends and all agreed the chicken was moist and very tasty. This was one of many purchases from Herb Fed over the years and the meat has always been superb in flavour and texture. We were only so sad when Avian flu hit and are so glad those tough times are in the past.”

“Outstanding! We ordered the "Chicken box", a mix of 2 whole birds, chicken breasts, chicken thighs and diced chicken. The first thing that struck us was the size and weight of each item. The breasts and thighs in particular are much bigger and meatier than usual, and even good quality supermarket equivalents, bear no resemblance. So far we have tried a breast, thighs and yesterday, a whole chicken for Sunday lunch, and each one was fabulous. The texture is heavier, firmer but not tough, and so full of flavour. It sounds clichéd, but it really was how chicken used to taste., no doubt down to the high welfare standards, freedom to truly roam, and of course, the fact they are herb fed! The taste and texture differences were amazing. We will definitely buy again.”

“The quality and variety of goods are fantastic. There is no comparison to what you find in a supermarket. The quality means that I use only one chicken breast to make a meal for my husband and me. I would recommend Herb Fed Poultry to anyone and everyone, you will not be disappointed!”

“Have been purchasing great chickens, all cuts, from Herb Fed for many years and always found them fantastic with great flavour at a very reasonable price. Decided to try the burgers for a change and again found them great, full of flavour and top quality chicken of course, not always the case with some other burgers I could mention!! Only "downside", but 100% MY fault, I did not check on the best way to cook them!! Can't teach an old dog(very!!) new tricks syndrome? So were a bit overdone but still very tasty so no complaints, sorry Herb Fed will try harder next time, and there definitely will be. In my opinion top product from a Top Company, many thanks to you all.”

“Chicken arrived promptly and packaged well - glad because the day was very hot but the chicken was well chilled! So far only tried the breasts and drumsticks which were really succulent. Looking forward to more good meals. Many thanks. Joy”
