“I was searching the internet for a capon, a juicy plump chicken remembered from childhood, when I came across Herb Fed's roosters which appeared to be the modern equivalent. This was the first time I have ordered meat/poultry online but the whole process was very simple. We were nervous about delivery as the bird was coming from Yorkshire and we are in Kent and it was when the M20 was blocked with lorries but everything happened exactly as we had been advised and it arrived exactly on time. Although it could probably have done with a shorter cooking time than advised it was still extremely juicy and delicious with generous leftovers. We shall certainly repeat the experience.”

“Fantastic capon/rooster! Cooked perfectly to instructions. Moist, tender, really well flavoured bird. If you aren't a mahousive turkey fan (which I'm not) I'd highly recommend a permanent swap to Herb Fed's capons. Marvellous!”

“Quite simply the best U.K. chicken. Have been buying since 2018, the quality and taste is unsurpassed by anything else we have tried. The whole deboned chicken also opens up interesting menu options. They have also demonstrated loyalty to existing customers with a superb service attitude.”
