“Had the rooster for our Christmas dinner - I'm not a fan of turkey, preferring lamb but was outvoted by family so compromised with this; it's in a different league! Not dry, not tasteless and thoroughly enjoyable. Will buy again next year 'through choice!”

“The Rooster arrived on time and well pakaged. Overall the flavour of the chicken was excellent. Full of flavour ,moist and succulent !! I stuffed the bird with a whole onion,garlic and the herbs provided and re-tied, added a little water to the roasting tin. Once cooked I poured off the juices and made a roux and gravy from the chicken juices. "Voila" Simply delicious!”

“Delivered the two large chickens as promised on time. Cooked one for Christmas Day, one in the freezer for New Years Day. The cooked Chicken was lovely and moist, and full of herby flavour. I would recommend them to anyone.”

“Our first order from you and we couldn’t have been more delighted. The cockerel arrived on the designated day and was excellently packaged. We have never had cockerel before but it will now be our first choice bird for Christmas. It was delicious. We look forward to ordering from you again.”

“For the third time, we got a medium rooster for christmas. Quality was very good as usual, much tastier than a supermarket bird. Getting a rooster means you have plenty of meat and lots of leftovers. Delivery was on the morning of the day ot was scheduled for and you can track the progress on the delivery company app so you know roughly when to expect it.”

“A really good choice for Christmas! Communication was clear and regular, and the cockerel arrived on time and well-packed. A surprise addition of herbs too! It was very tasty and juicy, and gave a lot of meat. It needed a little more cooking than estimated - maybe because it was between 'small' and 'large'. Overall, we are very pleased.”

“The capon supplied by Herb fed was absolutely outstanding and made our Christmas meal feel truly special. Perfectly cooked, the meat was incredibly tender, juicy, and full of flavour, with a richness that elevated it beyond a standard roast chicken. The skin was beautifully golden and crisp, adding just the right contrast to the succulent meat beneath. It was served generously and paired wonderfully with the traditional Christmas sides, soaking up the gravy and complementing the festive flavours perfectly. Every bite felt indulgent and comforting—exactly what you want from a Christmas roast. A superb choice for Christmas and a dish that really stood out. Highly recommended for anyone wanting something classic yet a little more luxurious for the festive table.”
