“I have just had my Samsung TV calibrated by Vincent and I can honestly say I am very impressed; the picture is so so much better and true to life. Vincent kept me informed of his arrival time and arrived spot on time. I was keen to see how the calibration worked and Vincent took the time to show and explain all my questions. I play a lot of Xbox one so Vincent even set up the TVs Game mode for me. True to his word I received a full PDF with all my details just in case my TV ever got reset to factory Defaults. Bottom line is, if you are paying a lot of money for a TV do you self a favor and get it calibrated.”

“I was recently fortunate enough to get a Samsung EU65 JS9000 TV which Vincent has calibrated for me. I had left the TV with the default settings as I knew I wanted it calibrated by someone who knew what they were doing (as opposed to my usual clumsy fumblings). I can honestly say the difference in picture quality and realism is like night and day. The level of image detail I am picking up now is fantastic, to the point that I often forget to actually watch what is on the screen, instead finding myself a little hypnotised by the quality of the images. Vincent talked me through every step of the calibration, and asked for my thoughts and input throughout to ensure I was satisfied with the end result. Needless to say I am very satisfied and would have no hesitation in using Vincent's services again, or in recommending him to someone else.”

“I arranged for Vincent to come and calibrate my 2TV's, Panasonic TX-P50VT65 and TX-P42GT60. I was happy with the pictures produced before but after researching what Vincent does I decided to go ahead. As others have mentioned Vincent is more than happy to explain what he does and what the technical process is and why he is making the various adjustments. Depending upon how your screen is set up, will of course, determine the extent of the modifications and adjustments Vincent needs to make. The end result will be from dramatic to subtle. But even though my screens were on a "good" setting the difference is there and most importantly the modifications have maximised the potential of my TV's, which is what I wanted. Blacks are better, skin tones are extremely accurate - in a sense it is as if a gauze has been lifted from the screen! Make no mistake, even if you had access the equipment Vincent has, without a huge amount of experience and understanding of the process, one could not achieve the same results. So, yes it is an investment. But I truly believe if you have a decent TV and want to get the best from it, and watch the content in the way the director actually filmed it, and see their true representation of it, go ahead and ask Vincent to come and calibrate your TV. I only wish I'd asked Vincent to come and do this when I first got them installed. And if ever I change my TV's I'll be asking Vincent for advice on what to get next and ask him to come and calibrate them again!”

“My Panny AX902 already had excellent colours & screen uniformity. But Vincent made a excellent TV into fantastically marvellous one with colours that pop & shadow detail clearer. Calibration of one's TV is Highly Recommend. Vincent, thanks, top job!”

“Vincent came a long way to calibrate my TV, 100 miles, and phoned me up to update me on his arrival time. He is a very friendly person, easy to get on with and very knowledgeable. When he calibrated my TV he fully explained everything that he was doing in terms that someone who has little knowledge could understand and showed me what was going on with the software and the readings as he was doing it. My TV is an OLED that has to have certain aspects taken into consideration when doing a calibration and because of his dealings with the LG engineering team he is fully aware of these. He took time to ask me what I wanted calibrating, whether I wanted separate calibrations for day and night viewing and whether I wanted the game mode calibrating for my console. I had done some tweaking prior to his arrival and thought I had a good picture but it was nothing compared to what it ended up like when he'd finished. When he got back to Manchester he sent a follow up email with all the settings and the graphs I'd asked for. The picture is truly remarkable and the one thing that immediately stood out to me was the natural skin tones. Even the wife noticed which, as most guys will attest, is quite a feat because they notice stuff like this like we notice they've had a new hair do, ROFL. He may not be the cheapest but if you own one of the LG OLED TVs I would strongly recommend you use Vincent. I would not hesitate to use him again or recommend him to anyone.”

“Vincent came and calibrated my Samsung UE65JS9500. I thought the picture was pretty good before as I had set it up using a calibration disk. Boy was I wrong Vincent showed that the grey scale was off due to red saturation, adjusted flesh tone, colour and contrast. What really impressed me is that Vincent adjusted the brightness to suit my viewing environment i.e. set to 150 instead of 120. The difference is noticeable (even by the wife). Anyone who have invested in a expensive TV should get it calibrated as it really makes a difference.”

“We recently had our tv calibrated by Vincent Teoh from HDTVTest. We were quite happy with the 'out of the box picture' but were aware that full professional calibration would probably wring just a bit more out of the tv (Panasonic ZT65). Vincent talked through the calibration process at all stages and made it quite clear what adjustments were being made and why. All very interesting! We were expecting the picture to be a little cleaner and maybe a bit more 'balanced' - but wow! The results post calibration were quite significant; brighter screen, beautiful natural colour and an almost 3D quality. Oblivion bluray on this screen is staggering! Wish we hadn't delayed this calibration for so long now! If you have a quality screen that hasn't been professionally calibrated, get it done! The process of arranging Vincent's visit was smooth and efficient and nicely tailored to the customer. Just wish we had realised green tea was the order of the day! Got bags (literally) of the stuff!. Many thanks Vincent. Wayne.”

“Very pleased with Vincent's work in calibrating my Panasonic plasma tv. He provided a very professional and friendly service and kept me informed of the steps he was taking while calibrating, taking on board any comments or suggestions that I had. The result of the Calibration has far exceeded any of the out of the box pre - sets in there rendition of natural colour , superb black levels whilst still retaining all insight into the deepest of murky shadows onscreen. I would thorougly recommend anyone who is interested in getting the best out of their tv , to contact Vincent at hdtv . Not only does he provide an extremely punctual , friendly and professional service , but upon completion you can be confident that your calibated tv far exceeds - in picture quality terms , any of the current crop of ' off the peg ' sets currently out there up to and including Oled and hdtv. “A superb service by an exemplary ISF calibrator on a Samsung 55 inch HU7500. Took time to explain method of calibration, why and what adjustments he was making, and also answered numerous questions and queries with patience and in detail. An expensive television set is not real value for money until professionally calibrated for colours and vibrancy in image quality just as the director and technicians intended for viewers to see. That much was easily obvious on post calibration viewing. Would highly recommend Vincent from HDTV Test for anyone wanting their televisions calibrated for the best possible image quality attainable.”

“I was lucky enough to have Vincent come and calibrate my Samsung UE55HU8500 the other day and I have to say, I'm over the moon with the results! Vincent sat down with me and took the time to explain the entire calibration process to me step by step as it was performed along with the advantages each step would provide. Vincent's attention to detail was fantastic and he went through and calibrated each and every input I use (even the problematic game mode). The results are simply fantastic, colours are extremely true to life and the level of detail that I am now able to see in scenes that were previously washed out is something to behold. After Vincent left he provided me with a full run down of the changes in PDF format just in case the settings were ever lost. If you are looking to have your TV professionally calibrated to ensure you really are getting the best out of it I would most definitely give Vincent a call!”

“Having owned my Panasonic TX50AX802B for six months, I found myself spending much of that time tinkering with the picture settings. I therefore invited Vincent around to calibrate the TV. I have a very-bright living room and was concerned that this may impact on the calibration process. Before his visit, I showed Vincent some pictures of the room, and he recommended that I darkened the room by using one layer of heavy-duty black bin-bags to block the light from the windows. After arriving, he quickly and effortlessly set-up his system. He was very keen for me to be directly involved, and I was able to see the changes he was making and he subsequently explained why those changes were being applied. I found his visit very informative and interesting, and would recommend him without hesitation. So how did calibration help my TV picture? The calibrated picture is much brighter (and more enjoyable) compared to the original setting I was using, with colours being much more natural. My original setting made white backgrounds look “grey” but after Vincent’s calibration, they looked beautifully white. On the other end of the spectrum, I am seeing more details. For example, on black suits it is now possible to see where the lapel is rather than just seeing a black suit with no details. Vincent did both “day” and “night” calibrations, and I have been finding that the “night” setting is working well during cloudy days as well. Vincent also did a 3D Calibration for me and 3D films look absolutely fantastic. If you have purchased a high-end TV and want to see it performing at its best, then I can recommend having the TV calibrated, but more-importantly, recommend Vincent to calibrate the TV for you. Not only does he do a great job, but he is also a very interesting and friendly chap.”

“I have just switched from a plasma TV to an edge-lit LCD TV and I was unhappy with the way the picture looked. With so many pictures options available I just couldn't get the picture right.
