“We never got to practice on any patients, only phantom heads, which was quite disappointing. We observed a trainer administer Botox to one model and cheek filler to another. I think we could have done with a lot more hands on and to get to practice on models ourselves. After the course speaking to colleagues most other courses you would always get to practice on a model under supervision. Also seeing more variety of models would have been good.”

“The information was in depth and the teachers clearly had a lot of knowledge to share, the day was unfortunately a bit unorganised with the model arriving at a time where we had not had sufficient information to appreciate the demo and I was dissapointed there were no live models and feel I have left without the skills I need to continue my journey in aesthetics”

“This course was very informative and covered the safety aspects of the industry well. However, there was no where near enough demonstration or practical time. The filler section was very rushed. I am now having to book elsewhere a one-to-one training day for purely filler.”

Hi Ali, Thanks for the feedback, we appreciate any constructive suggestions from our students! Regarding the matter of lip fillers, we totally understand. You're right that ideally the filler demo would include all areas for filler so you could really get a sense of the procedures. However, this is not always possible as it depends on the patient. We intend our demonstrations to show good clinical practice with dermal filler injections, but they are by no means intended to be comprehensive instruction - as this is what the Level 7 has been designed to fulfil. We also have advanced workshops that cover lip fillers in the kind of detail required to perform them safely. On these advanced days, and on our full Level 7 course, you'd be able to perform lip injections under the close personal supervision of your experienced clinical mentor. “I was expecting to inject live patients , practical was not enough”

“Interesting and enjoyable day, with good theoretical content and excellent lead trainer. Given the cost of the course my exception was that trainers would be very experienced, but several were FY2 doctors just starting their career and had no practical experience, although all were friendly and approachable. Teaching room was very small and cramped. Incorrect prices given about Level 7 course which was misleading.”

“The course content was pitched at the right level however the speakers on the course were inexperienced and often unable to draw on any practical experience of their own as they were still in training themselves. This I found very disappointing. I agree with others the conference room was very small and cramped. The lunch was very poor considering the price of the course.”

“I was about 75% happy my feelers looks really good but my Botox didn't really work as well as I usually I have a very smooth hole head this time that was not the case but they were very professional I will be ringing them and asking them to redo it and I'm sure it will not be a problem”

“I found the content OK, I think worksheets to do before would have been beneficial especially around the areas that cause the most concerns whilst giving these procedures. I found that the professionalism was let down. I was highly distracted by the other 2 people leading the day, they were whispering, talking and laughing through most of the presentations with valuable content, when you pay this much for a course, you do not expect this from the people attending or people giving the course. I asked for help of allocation of an injection and was refused an answer and told he will show me when he does a live procedure. However this was not my preferred method of learning, I learn kinetically not visually. It would not have taken long to show me, and this is what we had paid for. After attending, I was made very aware that the course was a waste of money for nurses who cannot prescribe! This could have been identified on the website before hand. Easy Location to find and Easy to get to, food and drink was at a high standard.”
