Hi, thank you for your review. We feel that you are incorrect in your summary of our service. Returns - we have a 30-day returns policy which is industry standard, and is detailed on product pages and delivery paperwork. Customer Service - Absolutely not limited - we are contactable by telephone (a lot of firms are not) and email for first class, impartial advice. Amending Orders - Orders can be amended by telephoning the sales office, unfortunately this cannot be done online as per companies such as Amazon etc. But we will always allow amendment of an order up until dsepatch. Advice & Instructions - Instructions are provided for more complex products, but simpler items (i.e. door bolts., screw-fixed items) would not require 'instructions' in general.

“Good choice of fittings in different sizes that arrived quickly and seem decent quality. However, one drawback was there was only one option of fitting screw length - and the supplied screws were too long for the thickness of our door. Since there was no info on the screw gauge etc it too me trial and error at Screwfix to find suitable bolts of the right size. Achieved in the end though and happy with the result - would just suggest customising bolt length in the first place to accommodate different door thicknesses.”

hi Paul, thank you for your review, we are sorry to hear that you had trouble with the fixing bolts for your letter plate, however the manufacturers all supply a bolt with a length which will cover 99% of door thicknesses in the UK. So if you did need shorter bolts you would need to cut them down with a junior hacksaw or similar. It would be impossible to offer bolt length customisation for products such as these, hence why the bolts are sometimes longer than you need, dependent on your door thickness. “- I wanted new handles for entire house and ordered one form H4H to test quality - Handle didnt arrive - sent emails to chase but no response - cancelled payment - Handle arrived 7 weeks later!”

Hi Andy, thank you for reviewing your guardsman pull handles. The bolts supplied will suit up to 70mm thick exterior doors, so it sounds like your door was unusually thick. If you still need longer bolts please let us know and we will obtain them for you. Many thanks Handles 4 Homes Ltd

“Unfortunately the handles were not the right side and I found the return system very difficult filling out forms on line plus I don't have a printer. If I had realised how difficult returns were I wouldn't have ordered them. I am now stuck with an unwanted order.”

Hi Patricia, Sorry to hear that you had trouble with the returns procedure. Most returns going back to any company, would need a printer to complete the procedure (labels/returns notes etc), so we don't feel our return process is particularly difficult.
