“The catch was of reasonable quality but unfortunately the casting of the keep is not accurate. Its deeper by 3mm that it needs to be so the catch rattles quit significantly when fitted. This has been overcome by sinking the keep into the frame so that it lines up with the main body of the catch and eliminates the loose fit. I was very close to returning this item however but I'm very busy at the moment so I just had to get on and fit it the way I have described above. While I understand that you don't actually manufacture the catch you are ultimately responsible for selling a faulty product. I suggest that you get on to your suppliers and insist that their quality control improves.”

Hi Julian, Thank you for your valued review on the purchase you made. I have noted your comments regarding the accuracy of the striker plates and will feed this back to the manufacturer. These roller catches are a cost effective industry standard pattern, and we will monitor the quality from now on. Just to be clear and i am sure you already know, but the roller itself can be adjusted in and out so with a screwdriver so you can obtain a firm fit. “The external door handles looked very good quality when received, even better than the images online. However, within 4 months the chrome finish has developed sharp blisters and has corroded. This is not acceptable for external door fittings and therefore I would not recommend purchasing. Very disappointed.”
