“Needed a specific size handle, could not locate on eBay or Amazon, found exactly what I wanted on h4h. Order arrived quickly, handles looked lovely and were great quality. Ordered several more only to realise I'd made a mistake with my measurements and needed to swap 2 of the handles for smaller ones. Dropped h4h an email via their website requesting a call back, was called very promptly and resolved my order, very, very helpful, highly recommend and will be first choice for any more handle requirements, thanks team.”

“Excellent service as ever! The handles I ordered weren't available due to an issue with the supplier - Connor came up with a virtually identical alternative (which was critical as I was replacing the front door handle in an apartment block) and they are absolutely spot on = very happy client! Thank you!”

“I ordered an oak/brushed chrome door knob and spindle set. It arrived promptly and looks nice. However, the door handle seems to turn both ways and often does not engage properly and lock the door closed without a lot of fiddling, turning the handle one way or the other, so that is not very satisfactory, particularly as it is fitted on a fire door.”

Hi Carolyn, Thanks for the review, however it seems that the mortice latch already in your door is not suitable for these unsprung knobs. We do provide advice regarding the knobs and latches and how they work together. A lot of door knobs on the market are unsprung for a purpose, so that the knobs may be operated by turning either way, but in these instances the latch needs to be stronger so that the knobs spring back. Hope this helps Thanks Handles 4 Homes 0118 982 9170
