Down To Earth is a multi-disciplined company offering specialist arboricultural contracting and consultancy throughout Kent and South East London.

Established in 1980 by Glenn Morris, and as one of the pioneering companies helping to establish the Arboricultural Association approved contractor scheme, we’ve grown into the largest tree contracting company in Kent securing an impressive array of clients in both the domestic and commercial sectors.

The successful merger with Greencut Horticulture in 2016 resulted in the creation of a large company that not only has the infrastructure to deal with any size job, but the modern back office systems that allow us to focus on a customer-centric model.

“The team arrived on time and completed the job without any fuss and to a very high standard. The access area and work area were left in a very tidy state taking care not to damage any of my belongings as access was through my attached garage. The company came as a recommendation to me and I would have no hesitation in recommending them to others. Many thanks for a job well done.”

“I've recently used Down to Earth Professional Tree Management for general maintenance for the trees in my garden and as always have been delighted with the end result and the professionalism of the Down to Earth team. Great care was taken to ensure that the work carried out was to a high standard thus creating a look that was also aesthetically pleasing. I certainly have no hesitation in recommending Down to Earth as an excellent tree management service.”

“I had asked for a number of jobs to be done about the garden and the Down to Earth team made sure they completed them to my complete satisfaction, and left the garden in a very tidy state. The only problems I had were minor ones as far as I was concerned; in the booking process, where their initial response was sluggish, and a postponement for a few days when another job overran. I will certainly use them again.”

“Have used Down to Earth for tree work for many years and have always found that they carry out each task exactly to specification and to the highest standard. Each operative is friendly but professional, and concerned to understand the horticultural context in each case and a customer's expectations. If expectations are unrealistic, they will say so in a polite but authoritative way. I consider their charges to be very competitive, given the high quality of work and skills on offer.”

“Down To Earth came to my house to take down a tall tree that was leaning over a fence. They did exactly what was asked, including cutting up the trunk in rounds to be used later. Will definitely use again! Mr G”

“Down to Earth went beyond the call of duty working flat out to finish a major job in time, throughout very poor weather conditions, and until the light faded. They checked back we were happy with the work, and did some further trimming back when we asked them to. Couldn't have asked for more”

“This is the second time that I have used Greencut/ Down to Earth. This time I had 3 tree stumps removed, trees removed, areas cleared and other trees trimmed. Very good and very fast! See you in 3 years for the next haircut!”
