“Green Gardener is one of the 'go to' sites I use when buying environmentally friendly gardening products. They have a good selection of products and it is great to be confident that their products only deal with the pests they are designed for and do not cause collateral damage. Ordering from them has always gone very smoothly and delivery is always prompt. I would thoroughly recommend Green Gardener.”

“I have ordered ladybird larvae a few times and had no problems. Unfortunately my last order for larvae placed on the 9th of April paid through amazon pay never appeared. The payment for £17.50 was taken from my account the following day. By Friday the 18th I still had nothing delivered. I spoke to an employee who said some orders hadn’t been transferred. My fruit tree has been decimated by aphids, I don’t understand how you can receive payment and not dispatch anything !!”

“Recently ordered a nematode applicator for (I think) £39. It was hopeless. I have no idea if I distributed the nematodes correctly and I suspect not. I have used the nematodes every year for a while and they have always worked. I emailed Green Gardener but have had no reply. I am sorry to have to give them a bad mark because things have always been fine before.”

“I received the nematodes I ordered in excellent condition and exactly when they were supposed to be delivered. I also received a prompt reply to my questions about the product and am very happy with the service I received from this company. I can thoroughly recommend them.”

“I only ever use Green Gardener for my annual Nemaslug programme. It is the only place I know of that fulfils a subscription for it. I also find their products are quite wide ranging and very useful! Satisfied customer!”

“Poor and indifferent customer service. I ordered and paid for two items, only one arrived and with no information available either on greengardener.com website or an explanatory email I telephoned. I was told that 'despatch messed up' no explanation nor apology was given, I then asked how the situation could be resolved and was told that the missing item would be sent out next week. It was 10:45 on Friday morning and as the listake was green gardener's I felt justified in asking if the item could be sent out that day, after consultaion with A.N.Other I was told that was not possible. I, politely, asked whether this could be reconsidered or at least first class post could be used but was advised 'no'. I was 'delighted' when the article did arrive the following week....by first class post. I shall not use greengardener.com again nor reccomend them - they could have redeemed themselves by apologising for the error and explaining why someone could not pack a small item for same day despatch.”

Dear Marylou W, thank you for the review and as a family business which prides itself on its customer service I am deeply concerned by your comments. Firstly can I apologise. I would have expected just like you did that we would have held our hands up and posted the missing item same day by 1st class post, so I will find out why this did not happen. My name is Jonathan and I am the son of John the original Green Gardener and I have now taken over. Firstly I have refunded you in full for your order by way of an apology. I will also find out who dealt with your enquiry and make sure they are re-trained as to how to deal with an enquiry like this. We have spent years building up the business and our customer service has always been one of the reasons why people come back to us year after year.
