“Bought 'Ant nematode 50 sq m' advertised as 'fresh deliveries of nematodes each week, you are guaranteed the freshest stock with the longest expiry date available'. But the product turned up with only a 2 week shelf life.”

“I bought ladybug larvae and 25 adult ladybugs. Ladybugs are doing great I released them at home for orchids ... after three days you can already see how aphids are disappearing 🐞🐞🐞 yupi !!! the best remedy for aphids”

“I have tried the ant nematodes twice now and closely following the given instructions, at best was when they moved to a near new location (within 6 foot). I still have two large anthills in my lawn !”

“Hi I bought the nematodes to stop my dog coming in with fleas on him from our garden. We get a lot of foxes using it garden. I've done the 3 treatments every 7 days (Note make up the solution using hot water as this stopped the clumping) And yes it has worked. We do treat our dog every month using Advocate and he has stopped coming in with fleas on him. So it worked. Plus it grass does look greener and healthier too. Deliver was quick.”

“I purchased ladybird larvae and followed instructions, I complained twice that I was not happy and asked for re-fund and was told they would take 5 weeks to develop. NOT VERY HAPPY AT ALL DID NOT SEE 1 LADYBIRD.”

“I have used GG's Nemaslug for several years and they have been very effective in keeping slugs and snails under control in my borders. This time I bought Nemasys ant nematodes too, but was surprised to find when opening the packet that they do not actually kill the pests (unlike the slug type), which I don't think was clear on the website. They are simply a deterrent, to persuade the ants to move their nest elsewhere, which is not very helpful in a big garden. And then you have to ensure the ant's nests are moist before application, and remain moist for 2 weeks after application. I ordered the nematodes for when a rainy period was forecast, but they arrived after it had passed the Met Office forecast was a bit off). It's too early to say whether they have been effective, but if they are as good as Nemaslug I'll be happy. That said, the packet delivered by Royal Mail was hot to the touch when pushed through the letterbox - presumably from sitting in hot vans for hours - and both products need to be cool (you have to store them in the fridge until you use them) - so I hope they were still alive when I applied them.”
