We are a family business based in Glasgow, Scotland. From a small start in 2012, we have become one of the UK’s leading suppliers of mountain sports equipment. Our product range has an emphasis on equipment for off-piste skiing/boarding and ski racing.

Renowned for our customer service, we will give each customer our individual attention - if something isn’t right, we’ll do our level best to sort it. Our choice of products is driven by our own experience as mountain sports enthusiasts. If we wouldn’t use it, we won’t stock it.

Advertised discount for Ski Club members, that requires you to send proof after your purchase. When I sent proof, was refused on grounds there was already some discount applied and then pointed to Terms and Conditions. Felt cheated but needed the item so too late to cancel. I could have obtained a better deal elsewhere. That kind of business practice is just not transparent- and for that reason I would never use this Company again. There are better deals out there, with genuine scrupulous businesses who don’t hide behind their Ts&Cs.

Hi Paul, We're sorry you are disappointed but our terms for Ski Club discounts are in plane view with a link to them from our home screen. I'm sure you are aware but every discount has terms and conditions, the fact you didn't read them beforehand is not something we have any control over. We did make clear the terms to you during your purchase, which you were free to cancel at any time. We also offer a price match if you had found the item cheaper elsewhere. Here are out T&C, they are quite clear: We are pleased to offer a 10% discount on the recommended retail price (RRP) to members of the clubs and snowsports organisations in the list below. ......In the case of items that have already been discounted by less than 10%, we will make the discount up to a total of 10% by refunding the difference to your payment card. Hi Thomas, This is a review site please contact customer services at office@gravityprotection.co.uk Your parcel was at your local Post Office in Germany from the 30th December waiting for you to pick it up. After 10 days without pickup the parcel is returned. Sorry, that is all the time Deutsche post allow for you to uplift a parcel and is completely outwith our control. Stephen Gravity Protection Ltd

I am still waiting for delivery. There doesn’t seem to be a tracking system so don’t know when the package is due. Need the delivery before Christmas

Hi Mrs Mason, So sorry you haven't received your parcel. We've looked into the tracking information - we shipped it on a next day service the day you ordered it and our courier (APC) picked it up on 12th December. However, the tracking shows that, for inexplicable reasons, it is still with APC and hasn't left the sending depot. We use APC as they are a premium courier and normally we have found them to be extremely reliable, but clearly they have let us down this time - I suspect this is because like all couriers at present they have been so busy with extra work due to the Royal Mail strikes. We will contact them tomorrow and give you any updates directly by email once we have spoken to them. If the goods have been lost by APC we will of course issue you with a full refund. We checked with our courier and understand the delay was because they had difficulty in finding your address and so they contacted you by email for clarification, and this took a few days to be resolved. Rubbish delivery. Placed order on 12 December (for Christmas present). Got email claiming it was shipped on 14 December. Item only showed as received by Royal Mail tracking on 22 December. It’s now Christmas Eve and item is still showing in transit. Not impressed.

Hi George, We're sorry your parcel hasn't arrived, it was posted by us and received by Royal Mail on the 14th. Tracking is only available once Royal Mail scan the parcel at the sorting office. Unfortunately Royal Mail has let us, and our customers, down by being unprepared for the surge in Christmas parcels. We shipped a large number of parcels between the 10th and 14th December. At the time Royal Mail didn't inform us there were likely to be delays. They didn't didn't start processing the parcels sent over that weekend until the start of this week, 21st December.

Ordered item, order confirmed, 2 days later received a PayPal refund? No explanation from Gravity Protection as to why my order had been cancelled? Looked to reorder the item but it was no longer in stock... guess that’s why my order was cancelled but why was it possible to order an out of stock item? As a consequence I did not have the body armour I was counting on for my weekend trip and was left too late to arrange a contingency. My dissatisfaction may have been lessened by an explanatory/apologetic email from the store...? Can’t trust items on the website to be in stock, won’t be considering this store for future purchases.

Dear Anonymous, I'm sorry you are dissatisfied with your shopping experience, all items listed on our website are normally in stock but, on very rare occasions, errors can occur. We always e-mail our customers if there is a problem with their order, without exception. Although you have given an anonymous review I can confirm there have been no customers who have not been informed of an out of stock item.
