“A very nice chap but arrived late on the first day (though did telephone) and then was VERY slow at the manual work though I guess he was used to working in an office so found physical work demanding. The third day he did not turn up at all, he said he had had a car accident, he then said he would not be able to come again (though he was not in any way injured in the accident) Very disappointing as although the work was physical there was no time pressure on him completing it, despite the fact that he was paid by the hour.”

Hi, I am very sorry the grafter you hired was a bit disappointing. This is very unusual, but can of course happen. If you are not happy with a Grafters performance you can always stop the job earlier.

“Unfortunately the grafter I hired through the site, was very slow, ill-equipped and always late. When I complained to Richard at Grafter, he informed me 'we cannot guarantee the ability of the worker, that is for you to assess'. I think this platform is better suited to people who know how to 'assess' labourers and not people like me who are just looking for someone to come and remove their old decking.”

“I’ve only done one job found in this website so far but I’ve had no issues. It was quick and easy to apply, straight forward with all the information you need on location, pay, employer, etc. Contacting the employer was really easy too and also the payment for the completed job was very fast on the same day the job was done.”
