I was presented with approx. 12 very attractive insurance deals and tried to sign up to one. However the page to accept the deal and also the 'pay' page kept moving up then down the screen as if adverts were being loaded on. The page then disappeared completely then I couldn't find it, I paged back to look for it but was presented with a page of 3 recommended site none of which was the one I tried to sign up to. I gave up and searched and found a site of similar value but straight forward to use.

for some reason I was unable to pay the annual fee for Hastings Direct Insurance, Not go compares fault . I shall try again later but it did waste quite some time.

Insurers use whats called real time pricing, which means if you leave the website and return to it later on, this could be anything from hours to weeks, you will likely see a change in the prices quoted. Sometimes a pointless exercise , when you go to the quote it's not for the things you've put in to gocompare so you might as well go straight to the insurers after all you have to go through it all on there site anyway

You get lots of quotes but when you go into the different companies the info changes. So not completely accurate.

Insurers use real time pricing which means a quotes price is only guaranteed there and then, if you leave the website and return to it in the future, you will likely see a change in the price. We can see on 13/04 you have clicked through to an insurers website from a quote that was originally obtained 03/04. As you have returned to the quote 9 days later, the quote has been affected by real time pricing unfortunately. Went with go compare to claim the £250 excess ( if needed ) in future So purchased my insurance via them haven’t received the link to claim

Please ensure that you are logged into your account. You will then find the 'Free Excess Protection Cover' tab at the top of your account page or behind the silhouette of a person, which will take you to the activation page. Here you will need to select the policy that you have purchased or choose to enter the details manually which will take you to the activation form. You need to make sure that the details entered on this page are accurate and match the quote that you obtained and purchased through us. I received many quotes but when I selected one or two a cover page came up recommending me to a site I did not know anything about.

Policy excess £300 insurance expensive compared for exactly what I asked for I got excess voluntary 0 £95 comp over £80 cheaper

I have never spent so much time in trying to deal online with "ONE CALL INSURANCE", for my wife. This was one of the companies highlighted by G0 Compare and after 2 hours on my laptop, I am still unsure of the progress in policy set up - I have paid and would like to know what is happening with the insurance certificate. It was quite [painful. I have to deal with my own car insurance now............

One of the lowest offers was from a website that din't do a proper job using the data I had given on your website and then pestered me with a phone call and bumped the price up way beyond even the offer form my existing insurer. Waste of time.
