“I ordered the Android 10.1 inch tablet from J&Y on the 30th Nov. I paid £64.99 for the bundle plus £9.99 postage. I am still waiting for this to arrive & am getting worried as its for a Xmas present. I tried ringing the number they gave me & after waiting for 45mins I hung up. I have e-mailed them which they did reply to after 4 days. They asked me for my name, address, phone number & voucher code, all of which they already had. I have e-mailed them again plus I have e-mailed gogroopie & have had no response. Very disappointed & I hope I am not going to lose my £74.98. I am a pensioner & cannot afford to lose it. I know it says delivery 2-3wks but that is up this weekend so with the Xmas post I am getting very anxious & not sleeping”

“I ordered a tablet on the 28th November costing me 39.99 and postage 9.99. It has only just arrived today. I got so worried looking at the reviews after I had paid for it. The is a chip in the screen and the delivery took for ages. I wouldn't recommend the site. They don't have a number to contact if any problems, you can only email. Which they probably don't email back.”

“My voucher code doesn't work and I have tried on numerous times to contact Gogroopie by email with absolutely no response. I was hoping to put the item ordered into a stocking at Christmas but that is obviously not going to happen now!! Will definitely not be using them again and would recommend after reading some of these reviews that no one else does either!!!”

“Bought a few codes over the past few days, wish I had looked this company up first, and to think I recommend them to all my friends.. A few of my codes have gone through and I will wait in anticipation to see if they arrive but two codes are invalid, so close to Xmas this is leaving me left to find these presents and I have emailed go groupie with no response. I do not know if this is a genuine mistake or if I have totally wasted the last if my Xmas budget..!!!”

“I ordered a watch that never arrived and about 2 month later still waiting. Luckily for me, it wasn't that much and I feel sorry for the people who have spent 100's. I got a email at first complaint from the company saying my item was on it's way (via the north pole I think).
In fairness to go groopie, I did get a response from them but only after I had put a dispute on with paypal. I was told I would get a response from the company that I ordered from within 7 days which never came, so I have escalated the claim, however I have not received any money back yet. Like I said to them, I have had stuff arrive from China quicker.”

“I'm coming from a Merchants point of view here, just to warn others off - I was in talks of doing a deal with Go Groupie and midway through, I read up all these reviews (and plenty more on other sites) and was horrified. From what I can see, it is mainly customers complaining that goods haven't been received or have been received faulty, which is the MERCHANTS fault, but Go Groupie clearly doesn't help their customers.
When I saw this, I sent the lady (called Sarah) outlining that I was concerned about the reviews, but as a reputable business, my customers would NOT receive faulty goods and all my products would be accounted for at the post office, but could they explain to me what they do to protect their merchants, how they deal with customer enquiries and payment terms, as quite often I have heard of merchant running deals, sending out goods and not getting paid for them.
Nothing. Zero. Ziltch. After being almost hounded by them and receiving prompt replies after every email about setting a deal up, as soon as I ask a reasonable question, they go cold. This sends alarm bells ringing, and I would advise anyone of thinking of dealing with them (merchant or customer) to think better of it.”
