Took out insurance and at the beginning I wanted to up grade my AA COVER the system in place would not let me, after emails back and forth I gave up.

You charged me a £30 fee for a declined payment! It is very unacceptable, I had a little problem with my bank account but yet you didn’t even call me to ask for the reason why! Instead you charged me a £30 fee for doing nothing!

You got so much wrong during multiple calls to you when I was starting out on my policy. So much confusion and lack of clarity regarding documents I needed to send and how, and multiple long-length phone calls all for it to be resolved seemingly randomly

Failure to respond to emails is my biggest complaint. I still await your response from an email sent over 5 weeks ago regarding my no claims bonus.

I had my car insurance at a very low price, the only positive here. I've never had to claim (ever), and recently changed cars. I called up to cancel my policy. Naturally we all agree to our insurance terms but don't necessarily remember the fees, or even predict having to cancel. So, when I asked to cancel, I found I was being stung for £75 admin fee (£75!!!). A quick google suggests that apparently this is one of the highest cancellation fees. The remaining refund I was expecting (4 months of the policy left) should've left me in pocket, if not for that exorbitant fee, so in fact I ended up owing them £8. I asked for a good will gesture waiver of the fee in exchange for not writing this bad review, to be told the manager said no because they only usually refund if they've made a mistake. The person on the phone then said "it sounds like blackmail" after I told them I would be leaving this review. The actual insurance alone I can't rate because I never had to claim. But the cost of cancellation alone and the unwillingness to write off £8, especially given that I've just thrown money at them and never claimed, only to be told "it sounds like blackmail" when I planned to leave a legitimate, factual review, leaves a bad taste. Cheapest insurer out there for the car I insured, but I guess you get what you pay for.

Not impressed to be told that iGO4 would not be renewing our insurance - 7 hours before it expired on a Saturday night! Fortunately it was for home contents, not a car!

After taking out my policy, I received an email requesting my husbands licence details as a named driver, I sent them in immediately as instructed, by downloading them on the website. Weeks later, I received an email to say I still hadn't sent them and that my husband would be removed from my policy and, as I was paying monthly, my payments would increase. When I contacted them, they said they would look into it and suddenly found that I had sent them, although still expected me to pay the admin charge for changing the policy....which I haven't paid! As they had already contacted the finance company, they agreed to contact them again and reinstate my original policy costs, but when I received an updated letter of payments, they were still higher than they should be. I have again needed to contact them and they agreed to sort this out but my most recent payment still hasn't been reduced, so I am going to be paying more than originally agreed. Far too much stress and hassle for simple car insurance cover!

Worst insurance company I have ever dealt with. Wouldn't accept my ncb or my photo card licence after 3 attempts had the policy cancelled. Would not recommend!!!

This insurance company is as much a legalised cartel as the next one. WE ARE FORCED TO SPEND LARGE AMOUNTS OF MONEY ON THESE SHAM COMPANIES WHILST THEY MAKE UP THEIR OWN RULES AS THEY GO ALONG, BUT PLEASE, KEEP SPENDING. THE ECONOMY NEEDS YOU TO KEEP SPENDING. GO TO WORK FOR YOUR ENTIRE LIFE SO YOU CAN KEEP THE ELITES IN POWER.
