“My vehicle was reported a right off to my insurer. I assumed that they would cancel my insurance. Only to find out 6 months on that they have took direct debit from my account. I have never had this type of problem with my previous insurers. They wasn’t even willing to reimburse any of the money. Extremely unprofessional. Take you’re money to AA or other reputable companies.

“I had a very disappointing experience with Go Skippy Insurance. They debited £250 from my account, and after cancelling, I only received £35 back. This feels extremely unfair and unreasonable — I was left out of pocket with no clear explanation for why such a large amount was kept.
Customer service was unhelpful and did not resolve my concerns. I expected transparency and fairness, but instead I felt misled and taken advantage of. I would not recommend Go Skippy Insurance to others based on this experience”

“I would strongly advise anyone thinking of using GoSkippy Insurance to look elsewhere.
I paid my premiums in good faith, but the moment I had a non-fault claim they completely washed their hands of me. Rather than dealing with the matter properly, they simply pushed me onto AX-UK, who have been nothing short of incompetent, unhelpful, and uncaring.
• Emails go unanswered or are met with template responses.
• My vehicle has been left unrepaired, insecure, and unroadworthy.
• AX have repeatedly threatened to remove hire cover, leaving me without a car while the matter is unresolved.
• Despite numerous requests, GoSkippy refuse to engage at all, even though they are my insurer and the company I paid for cover.
It is utterly disgraceful that a company taking money for insurance can ignore their policyholders when they are most in need. The stress and inconvenience this has caused me and my family has been unacceptable.
GoSkippy should remember that customer service doesn’t end once they’ve taken your premium. Passing responsibility to a third party and then ignoring the policyholder is not service — it’s abandonment.
I feel completely let down and would urge anyone considering GoSkippy to choose a more reputable insurer who will actually stand by their customers when it matters.”

“Great price on comparison site and when I checked what it covered, I expected it to be 'not a lot' but it covers almost everything. I added breakdown cover for a few pounds and feel very confident that I have chosen the best company. All of the documents were sent by email within minutes which I was very happy about so I could check them over immediately and filed away.
Obviously ive not had to claim, and hopefully will never have to, so I can't comment on that side of things, but what I have seen so far, I will be recommending this company to all of my friends and family.”
