“We arranged for Garden Spaces to build a soundproofed music/recording studio at the beginning of this year. Paul Baldock created very helpful plans and drawings and was attentive to our requirements. This was a challenging build on a very small site , with difficult access and continuous rain in February! However, we were very fortunate to have Costi completing the studio build for us , who was very experienced and demonstrated professionalism throughout. Overall we are very pleased with the outcome. There were some difficulties prior to the construction of the studio, where Garden Spaces built a new shed base and erected a small shed, in preparation of the studio progressing. This did not go as smoothly, but it was a different group of individuals on this part of the job, from those who built the studio. Karl from Garden Spaces visited and arranged for the issues to be resolved. Following the stressful start we were apprehensive about the works commencing on the studio, but from day 1 of the build we were reassured and very pleased by the professionalism of Costi and the team and it was a very different experience from part 1 of the build and we would happily recommend them to others (and have already done so). Our initial apprehension following the earlier problems were alleviated by the fact that our concerns were taken seriously, leading to the positive experience with the studio build team. Following completion there were a few minor snagging issues but again these were very quickly resolved.”

“Quality material and competent project manager; great communication. Project delivered on time. Slight increase in cost, the risk of which wasn't made clear lear at the outset. Post project completion realised the finish wasn't 100% perfect but nothing to really complain about. Inward supply chain excellent. Reverse supply chain poor (skip and portaloo). Overall happy.”

“I would not use this company again. Although the overall build when first constructed was good, we did have a number of different logistical issues that consumed our time and were very annoying (simple things like scheduling the right deliveries for the right day, or the correct contractors in the correct order). Basically there was no-one project managing our job and instead this role was pushed back to us. However, much worse. We paid for an air conditioning unit to be installed which we paid over £2k for. It was Fujitsu and being a well known brand name we thought nothing more about it. Roll the clock forward 3-4 years and the aircon unit has completely failed. A local Aircon company has now told us that the unit installed was basically the cheapest unit on the market, and as a rule noone should use Fujitsu for aircon as 'they always break'. Given that the unit is past the 2 year warranty now, we have no choice but to replace the whole thing at our expense (circa another £2-3k). On top of that we have a had a few other issues (ie doors moving, requiring professional adjustment etc). So all in all, I would simply pick another company if I were to do this project again.”

Good morning Tanya, We are so very sorry to hear that you are not happy that the climate control unit (fitted 4 and a half years ago) is now well outside of clearly published warranty terms - 12 months parts and labour and 24 month labour only. Fujitsu are a well known and high quality supplier of climate systems across the globe. The truth is every technician has his favourite brand. I'm certain that only repairs/maintenance are required, and not a complete new system. It is probably most cost effective, as we have advised, to get a local climate engineer to do this rather than our expert, who has to travel a good distance to get to you, and we are always looking for the most cost effective solutions for our customers. Please also remember that when repaired the system does need annual maintenance by a qualified specialist. I have checked our records, and we have actually visited your property on a few occasions post build, to effect snagging and minor repairs. We had hoped that this clearly demonstrated our genuine desire to offer great after sales customers support, and we are really disappointed to hear that you are not feeling this. As a company, we always go the extra mile for our customers, and I feel your situation is no different. We have listened to your and other customers feedback, that there was not sufficient on-site management visits during the build, and this has been corrected a few years back. This has significantly improved our levels of customers satisfaction and confidence, so thank you for your feedback. We have listened and taken positive action. Unfortunately the bottom line is we cannot be held responsible for never-ending warranties, and we will always deal with people in a fair and reasonable manner. “From the start of the initial enquiry with Garden Spaces, the process was seamless. They managed every element of the project, which is so useful. The survey of the garden was thorough due to the number of trees we had. The design ideas were thought through and we had time to consider various versions. The build was smooth with a great team and completed on time. Every detail was thought through and the finish was brilliant. The project manager and foreman were communicative and considerate throughout the build. All in all, I would highly recommend Garden Spaces to deliver a beautiful, solid and useful extra space. My family are so happy for giving them such an amazing space and I was so pleased when my mum said “I didn’t think our garden can look more beautiful”.”

“Our Garden room was installed just before Christmas 2024. Although there were a few delays with the build, we are really pleased overall. The finished room is exactly as we imagined it and its really easy to heat so using it in the colder weather has been much better than working in our house. “Garden Spaces creted and built our garden studio last year, the expereince was fantastic and the team were on it at all times. We got in contact with them 3-4 months earlier which meant the did it in the dates that really suited our calendar. “We are very happy with the games room Garden Spaces built for us in late 2024. We first spoke to them in the Spring, when we had a vague idea of size and spec but not the details. Robert worked with us over a few months to help us narrow down the details and try out different designs, especially around the windows and doors, answering lots of questions and preparing six drafts of the design and quote. We took a while to find an third party contractor to prepare the site, during which time Robert was very patient and helpful, but once we were ready to go, the build was impressively fast; just 2.5 weeks for Sergio and his team to build a 4.5m x 5.5m room, with a green roof, and some complex last-minute wiring for a home cinema. The final build is lovely - it looks great, hit the spec, was delivered absolutely finished to a great standard, and has already changed the whole way we use our garden. We're also impressed with how cozy the small electric heater makes the space - a real treat given the build was finished just defore Christmas! Would definitely recommend Garden Spaces to anyone - it was a professional and reassuring experience from beginning to end.”

They communicated well and completed the job on time. The quality of build is very high. We also appreciated their proactivity. I received several calls from their designer suggesting changes pre construction. We implemented all of their suggestions, most of which we wouldn’t have thought of until after the build was done.”

“We started our project back in August 2023, I had been in contact with Robert who was very supportive and patient with what we were trying to achieve. The intended purpose was to have my mother-in-law live at the end of our garden and the initial approach was to build a dwelling via full planning permission, which fell through and got rejected, we re-visited our communication with Robert in early February 2024 and between the 3 of us (Robert, Myself and Mother in law) we managed to get to a good position to submit an application for the caravan act. and to my surprise it had got approved! Sadly though due to private issues we were not able to go ahead with the build, however I would highly recommend Annex Spaces if you are looking for a no pressure, supportive and knowledgeable team of individuals who carefully guide you through the design phase and are very flexible in what you want to achieve and where you can potentially save costs. Will definitely be recommended Annex Spaces to any friends and family members.”
