“Wonderful experience from start to finish”

“We hired Garden Spaces to design and build a garden room for us in Sept 2023. The initial planning / survey stage was done by Paul who demonstrated a very strong attention to detail. He came up with a design that maximised the usage of the space, and came up with an L shaped design so that we could have a storage area as well as a garden room. We were able to customise many parts of the process and appreciated expert advice. The build stage was somewhat beset with problems. Firstly we were hit with an unexpectedly large bill for bay suspension for the skip. GS booked a skip for the whole job when I would have thought it was only needed for the early dig out, and they were as shocked as I was by the charges our local council added for bay suspension. This was resolved by Roger at GS who generously agreed to share the excess cost. Secondly, the initial build team decided to quit with the building about 70% finished. Carl, the foreman on the job at Garden Spaces did his best to find another builder - Frank - to finish things, which he had to do whilst working on another job. This was frustrating at the time but we got there in the end albeit a few weeks late. Frank worked hard with a very strong pride in his work. Despite these wrinkles, the main thing is we now have a wonderful garden building, with a very high build quality, that looks excellent inside and out. It has completely transformed our garden and our house. We would very much recommend Garden Spaces!”

“I am delighted with the finished product - a 2 bedroom annex with living room / kitchen and bathroom. It was a larger project than I had anticipated which took longer than I had anticipated; but the workmanship was to a high standard and any problems were resolved promptly. The company were always on hand to advise and support. I have no hesitation in recommending them.”

“Garden Spaces recently completed my new garden building which we will be using as a gym. The quality of the building is great and the service we received throughout was excellent. Quick responses and excellent communication from the office team. Robert, the design consultant worked closely with me to achieve exactly what we wanted whilst the guys on site did a great job and were polite and speedy! We had one small issue on site but we resolved this quickly and to our satisfaction. I would highly recommend Garden Spaces.”

“First-class service. From the moment we went through the briefing process, right through to the final sign-off. Everyone who worked on our project with us was stellar and put up with me being a very stressful and sometimes unpleasant client with aplomb (sorry again). “What an amazing experience from start to finish. From the planning stage with their designer Caleb to the build with Jakob and his team to the constant and efficient dialogue with the project manager Jana, the service was amazing throughout. The build itself only just over 2 weeks from start to finish and we're very pleased with the final result. Any minor issues along the way were flagged immediately and resolved as quickly as possible. Even a minor issue with a piece of cladding a couple of months after completion was fixed as quickly as possible. Very highly recommended!”
