“We arranged for Garden Spaces to build a soundproofed music/recording studio at the beginning of this year. Paul Baldock created very helpful plans and drawings and was attentive to our requirements. This was a challenging build on a very small site , with difficult access and continuous rain in February! However, we were very fortunate to have Costi completing the studio build for us , who was very experienced and demonstrated professionalism throughout. Overall we are very pleased with the outcome. There were some difficulties prior to the construction of the studio, where Garden Spaces built a new shed base and erected a small shed, in preparation of the studio progressing. This did not go as smoothly, but it was a different group of individuals on this part of the job, from those who built the studio. Karl from Garden Spaces visited and arranged for the issues to be resolved. Following the stressful start we were apprehensive about the works commencing on the studio, but from day 1 of the build we were reassured and very pleased by the professionalism of Costi and the team and it was a very different experience from part 1 of the build and we would happily recommend them to others (and have already done so). Our initial apprehension following the earlier problems were alleviated by the fact that our concerns were taken seriously, leading to the positive experience with the studio build team. Following completion there were a few minor snagging issues but again these were very quickly resolved.”

“Quality material and competent project manager; great communication. Project delivered on time. Slight increase in cost, the risk of which wasn't made clear lear at the outset. Post project completion realised the finish wasn't 100% perfect but nothing to really complain about. Inward supply chain excellent. Reverse supply chain poor (skip and portaloo). Overall happy.”

We must use a national professional independent waste removal company, who in turn use 3rd party local waste removal companies, and to an extent they are unfortunately not directly under our control. “Excellent plan, design and build process. Made things stress free until at the end of build we had a couple of minor issues and the communication and resolution could have been smoother. This is the only reason for not giving 5 stars as the garden room is exactly as desired.”

“The original interactions with Robert the designer & sales representative was excellent, in fact based on him we chose your organisation. The contractors were friendly but didn't have a particularly holistic view of the project although their work was excellent, they were friendly and worked hard. There were a couple of hicups which were resolved. The overall project is excellent & we would recommend the company in terms of the end result.”

“We are absolutely delighted with our Annexe, both the external and internal finish. The builders onsite were brilliant - polite, hardworking and accommodating. We had a few outstanding issues which took a while to resolve and weren't wholly impressed by the attitudes of those in the head office during that phase, but in the end, they did work with us to reach a good conclusion.”

“When planning my music studio, I was particularly impressed by the degree of flexibility that Garden Spaces was able to accommodate in the final design. Most other suppliers were only prepared to provide designs based on a regular rectangular floor plan. My requirement was to maximise the available floor area in a garden that is far from a regular shape, with the added complication of having to build around a tree that had to stay in place. They were able to deliver a solution that achieved all these objectives, which has turned out to be everything that I could have hopped for in terms of build quality and workmanship.”

“We are very pleased with our garden room - it is exactly as we designed it and built quickly despite the high temperatures. Mario and Jonny were polite and kept me informed as the build progressed. My only gripe is why get someone to send me an e'mail telling me he is my contact during the build and then when I tried to get in touch, after several attempts, I finally find out he's on holiday! I think one point of contact from initiating the build to final invoice would have been a LOT easier. Too many cooks........”

Thank you for your feedback. We will be discussing how to improve our internal communication levels when our staff are on holiday. We do leave alternative contact details on our out of office emails but we will also now make it a priority in being proactive and inform our clients of any absences and also add this information to voice mails, so clients will always know how and whom to contact within our organisation.
