“very helpful & extremely good advice when buying”

“Solid product, fairly easy to fit and appears to be of good quality, definitely worth five stars but for the little issues below. Not too sure how the brush strip fits to my door, the stays arrived minus any fixings and the delivery was delivered without my agreement and whilst I was out of the country.”

“Easy to order, good customer service and delivered when said. Only reason I haven’t given 5 stars is due to the poor instructions that are supplied with the door. The Novatherm instructions start with everything fitted on the garage door and the other instructions are hard to follow. Definitely made the job take much longer than if decent instructions were available. Maybe just some pics that show what each section refer to? Or even printing in colour may help.”

“Door was fine, it is the lower end of the range so not the best quality but does the job. The delivery time scale is quit long but you are warned about that when ordering. The staff on the phone were very helpfully and friendly.”

“I was looking for a side-hinged door that looked good and improved on the security of my current door but did not have a large budget. This site was the cheapest I found after quite some time of looking. The knock down in star is simply because it did take longer than stated. Which although was understandable given the current situation I would still like to of been made aware of this to begin with and received updates without me chasing. However, I always received an update within a day or two from them whenever I asked. Particular thanks to Natasha for that. The delivery driver was great as well, he helped me place the door into my garage for safe keeping until I was ready to install it. The Garage door itself is great. I have no complaints. I was honestly not expecting something as well made and nice looking. The pre-hung side hinged garage door frame was a doddle to fit. Even for me. The lock and bolts on the door are a real bonus as well. The only negative here was the lack of instructions with the door. I had to download them from the website. Overall, I am extremely happy with my new garage door and would definitely order from them again. I would just be aware of delivery timescales and double check with them for realistic estimate.”

“The staff at Garage Door Sales are very helpful and friendly. The doors always turn up in good condition. The only thing I would say is that the lead times are fairly long and you don't get a delivery date until the last minute, which means our customers are waiting for an update for a while. However, that being said, GDS are always honest and open about their lead times/delivery.”

“I LIKE MY NEW GARAGE DOOR, IT IS LIGHT, EASY TO USE, AND LOOKS GOOD. IT WAS ALSO A GOOD PRICE AND ARRIVED AS PROMISED.”

“Good service and doors were received ahead of expected time. All looks to be ok but due to unforeseen circumstances they have not yet been installed and indeed it may well be some time yet. Thank you.”

“The Door arrived well packaged and easy to move. It did take two of us to erect it or put in the gap! The instructions could have been clearer. The phrasing used was not accurate. The door works very smoothly and efficiently. It is constructed in metal with a protected finish, which is smart and hopefully hard wearing.”

“Garage door was simple to fix, but the instructions were abysmal. There was no reference to two plates that have to be removed in order to get the door to open. Simple diagrams would have helped. Final tensioning of the spring was quite difficult and necessitated using two 22mm open ended spanners.”

“Would be helpful if you either made the delivery more flexible or stated at time of purchase what day the delivery would be on. Missed the initial delivery because you could only deliver on a Thursday. Made arrangements to take the Thursday off to receive the door, only for the driver to call and advise that it would now be delivered on the Friday. The purchase through the website was really easy. Staff returned emails and phoned to discuss delivery options. Just a shame it wasn't made clear from the start the the delivery would be restricted.”

“Very pleased with this door, arrived fitted to its metal frame making installation so easy and simple. As the point of feedback is to improve the product I will comment that the door latch actuating bars had very rough and sharp punched slots that would in time damage the plastic latches, these needed rounding off. Secondly, there was no consideration given to the fitting of the draft proofing brush along the door bottom. Alan.”
