“The whole dealing started bad. Delayed us about 5 hours to pick up the motor home. This made us miss our booked ferry. No sorry for this. Then charged £96 for extra cleaning. When asked why, told its for dishes left in sink and mud in shower tray. £96 for that is a joke.”

Dear Mr Chahal, thank you for your review. I will address your points raised, we did not delay the start of your journey, our handover times are between 2.00pm and 5.00pm, this was made clear to you at the point of booking and is clear in our terms and conditions which you have signed. It is correct that you have been charged £80.00 plus Vat for the additional cleaning, when you collected the motorhome you agreed to return it in a clean condition and you signed to this effect, I only wish I could post images of the state in which you returned the motorhome, all of the dirty crockery was left in the sink, the shower tray was full of mud with no attempt whatsoever to wipe it out, the fridge was left in a disgusting state and the draws still contained your personal hygiene products. The invoice was sent to you along with supporting images.

“Very good customer service. Jane and Angela were brilliant. Just a couple of problems - we hired a Da Vinci and were told that included a welcome hamper and a coffee machine - none of which were in the motor home. Also the TV which should have been un the bedroom wasn't there. None of these made any difference to our enjoyment but what did was the fact that were 4 of us but they only put in bedding/towels for 2. This did spoil our break as we had to use coats and fleeces to put over us at night and getting showered was a nightmare - 2 towels for 4 people. We didn't take our own bedding or towels as we were informed that "John Lewis" bedding was included in the Da Vinci. Apart from the above we had an excellent time.”

“This is the first time I have dealt with Freedhome after having hired Motorhomes from other providers across the North for at least the last 20 years so I am as well placed as anyone to be able to make comparisons . I can honestly say that that I was delighted with many aspects of the process but some are notable . The choice was excellent , new and up to date Motorhomes to suit all tastes . The condition of them and equipment was first class and I know they have just added some more . Service and knowledge from Jane and Angela was excellent . Further the handover process was great and completed by enthusiasts- never had one so comprehensive . I hope Freedhome goes from strength to strength , as my pretty vast experience of renting leads me to think they definitely deserve to .”

“Exceptionally well prepared and appointed Motorhome Fuel efficiency was surprisingly good for a vehicle of this size, returning 38.4 MPG on a 310 mile trip We would readily re-hire in the near future”

“All the staff at Freedhome are amazing.. Having been in business for years I have to say that the customer service and the welcome you receive is first class. From the open day to the day we hired and the day we returned the unit. The motorhome although wasn't the right layout for us (our choice) was immaculate and we couldn't fault it. Have already recommended Freedhome to friends and would do so again without hesitation.”

“We have hired from a number of companies and this was by far was the best experience and product. There was some damage when we returned the van, but they agreed it was not our fault and didn't try and keep any of the deposit which was returned very quickly. The van was fantastic, the handover the best we have ever had and everything worked, we even got a TV signal in the Highlands of Scotland (well we did once). We will be hiring again very soon.”

“What a fabulous experience! Staff taking the booking were professional, knowledgeable and really helpful and they made the booking process very easy. Motorhome was immaculately clean and very well equipped. Staff were extremely helpful in showing us how everything worked and gave us the confidence to go out and enjoy our holiday. “This was a first time experience for my husband and I and we had great time. I didn't realize how nice our motorhome would be inside, it was very modern, clean and warm. We have decided to book again but because we feel more confident we are going to France this year. It took us a while to decide to try a motorhome holiday but it really was such good fun that we couldn't wait to do it again. Thank you for the great service and the lovely motorhome.”

“We hired again from Freedhome and as usual we were not disappointed with our recent holiday experience. The service, price, quality and luxury of the Motorhome was excellent. We took the Garda Motorhome to Europe for a tour of France and Italy. One of the best holiday experiences we have ever had. If you want a hassle free, luxury Motorhome at a good price then look no further.”

“I hired a motorhome from Freedhome in North Manchester, it was my first experience of hiring and driving a motorhome and whilst I was apprehensive leading up to the trip I needn't have been. The staff are so helpful and cannot do enough to make sure that you understand everything from the driving controls to the set-up when you arrive at your destination to the internal controls and function of the motorhome. The motorhome itself was brand-new and in fantastic condition, fully equipped and really contemporary and spacious - we have a young family and the living and sleeping arrangements were just great. We had a wonderful family holiday and I would recommend this company to anyone. It's a great way to spend quality time with the family in some amazing locations, it's good value for money and so easy and fun - even on a wet weekend in October!”

“I hired a Motorhome from Freedhome in November 2015, the service from Angela and Jane was just brilliant, the Motorhome was brand new and very well equipped, it really did exceed my expectations. I have to add that the heating system was excellent, I had some reservations that I may have been cold but this was not the case at all, I had to turn the heating down! Will most define to use Freedhome again in 2016.”

“The price, service and quality of the motorhomes was excellent. We rented a Da Vinci Motorhome and the vehicle was brand new. It has a fixed large double bed in the rear of the home which is excellent and our 2 children had plenty of room in the double which drops down in the lounge from the ceiling. Very James Bond! We went to the Lake District for New Year and whilst it was crisp and fresh outside, inside the motorhome was toasty and very comfortable. All in all a very enjoyable holiday, perfect Motorhome, first class service and would high recommend.”
