“This was our second hire from Freedhome, we had such a great time last year we had no hesitation in booking again this September for a trip around Scotland. As before, all staff, especially Angela and Jane were great at all stages from booking to getting away promptly on the day. The Da Vinci is a great Motorhome and this years example was just as spotlessly clean and well equipped as last year.”

“Brilliant induction to the van on arrival to collect the van . We toured nc500 and had a most brilliant time the van was nippy, comfortable with everything you could need. Will be booking again”

“We hired a motor home from Freedhome over the festive period and traveled to the French alps We can not praise Freedhome enough, the check in and tutorial on how to use the motorhome was excellent, the motor home itself was very modern and immaculately presented. Despite plummeting temps we were toastie warm throughout our trip. We would highly recommend Freedhome if you are hiring, they have made everything as simple as possible so all you have to do is enjoy your trip. An excellent company and we will definitely be using them for our next road trip : )”

“Thank you to all at Freedhome, First Class service from start to finish.It was my first time in a motorhome and I was a little nervous but I needn’t have worried as all the help you need is in the motorhome or at the end of the phone line and the handover was well explained. Would recommend Freedhome to anyone who is thinking of hiring a Motorhome, I have already booked again for next year.”

“Once again excellent service from Freedhome This is the 5th time we’ve used them We hired a motor home for our regular visit to Dorset for “End of the road” music festival This time we had a 4 berth Garda which had ample space for 4 adults loads of storage space as well Pick up & drop off went like clockwork no problem whatsoever would definitely use again next year”

“Top class customer service and top quality vehicles. This is our second motorhome hire from Freedhome. The handover is thorough, the vehicles are well equipped and they make everything effortless amd crystal clear. Definitely a step up in terms of quality. Would highly recommend :)”

“exelent service from start to finish. hired for music festival then 4 days in wales. very comfortable motorhome with everything supplied ,,plus all the bits you may have forgot will be hiring one next year and going to open day. would reccomend to anybody.”

“We hired the Davinci for 5 nights as first time motorhomers we were unsure but on an initial visit are fears were elated by the superb Greg. If he was in my industry I would hire him tomorrow. So passionate about his job and so knowledgable and was st hand over the phone when we had a few novice issues with using the motorhome. A really good experience made the more pleasurable by the superb staff at Freedhome But sincere thanks go to Greg”

“Unjustified charges for damage repairs. Beware, and record all minor scuffs present on vehicle at the handover before taking vehicle out.”

Thank you Ian for leaving your comments and feedback, it is a shame that your comment only reflects the charge for the damage caused to the motorhome whilst it was on hire to you, there was nothing that was unjustified at all and we supplied you with all of the relevant documentation and images to back up our claim, as you’ve said you enjoyed your experience in our motorhome I thoroughly hope this hasn’t put you off going on another motorhome holiday in the future. “This was first time hiring a motor home ,read reviews on other companys (not good) .freedhome came top so we had a week in April brilliant all staff inc lads in garage were helpful and easy going we had fantastic time and wiil be hiring again from freedhome and will recommend to friends.”

“Excellent customer service with well stocked kitchen essentials. Hand over was very thorough and vehicle was spotless. Had a problem with the hot water heater but as we stated on the return of the motorhome this could have been ourselves misunderstanding the instructions. This however would not stop us from hiring again from Freedhome.”

“From start to finish the guys at Freedhome were fab, the Motorhome was clean and fully equipped with all required stuff to start our journey. The Handover was really good and we was able to take in all information to ensure we could get full use of the motorhome - this being the first time in a motorhome let alone going away in one.”

“The whole dealing started bad. Delayed us about 5 hours to pick up the motor home. This made us miss our booked ferry. No sorry for this. Then charged £96 for extra cleaning. When asked why, told its for dishes left in sink and mud in shower tray. £96 for that is a joke.”

Dear Mr Chahal, thank you for your review. I will address your points raised, we did not delay the start of your journey, our handover times are between 2.00pm and 5.00pm, this was made clear to you at the point of booking and is clear in our terms and conditions which you have signed. It is correct that you have been charged £80.00 plus Vat for the additional cleaning, when you collected the motorhome you agreed to return it in a clean condition and you signed to this effect, I only wish I could post images of the state in which you returned the motorhome, all of the dirty crockery was left in the sink, the shower tray was full of mud with no attempt whatsoever to wipe it out, the fridge was left in a disgusting state and the draws still contained your personal hygiene products. The invoice was sent to you along with supporting images.

“Very good customer service. Jane and Angela were brilliant. Just a couple of problems - we hired a Da Vinci and were told that included a welcome hamper and a coffee machine - none of which were in the motor home. Also the TV which should have been un the bedroom wasn't there. None of these made any difference to our enjoyment but what did was the fact that were 4 of us but they only put in bedding/towels for 2. This did spoil our break as we had to use coats and fleeces to put over us at night and getting showered was a nightmare - 2 towels for 4 people. We didn't take our own bedding or towels as we were informed that "John Lewis" bedding was included in the Da Vinci. Apart from the above we had an excellent time.”

“All the staff at Freedhome are amazing.. Having been in business for years I have to say that the customer service and the welcome you receive is first class. From the open day to the day we hired and the day we returned the unit. The motorhome although wasn't the right layout for us (our choice) was immaculate and we couldn't fault it. Have already recommended Freedhome to friends and would do so again without hesitation.”

“I hired a motorhome from Freedhome in North Manchester, it was my first experience of hiring and driving a motorhome and whilst I was apprehensive leading up to the trip I needn't have been. The staff are so helpful and cannot do enough to make sure that you understand everything from the driving controls to the set-up when you arrive at your destination to the internal controls and function of the motorhome. The motorhome itself was brand-new and in fantastic condition, fully equipped and really contemporary and spacious - we have a young family and the living and sleeping arrangements were just great. We had a wonderful family holiday and I would recommend this company to anyone. It's a great way to spend quality time with the family in some amazing locations, it's good value for money and so easy and fun - even on a wet weekend in October!”
