“I do a monthly stock up with forestwholefoods and I highly recommend. Quick and easy to order online and delivers promptly. I love that I can get such a good selection of organic staples and some more unusual stuff to try. All the nuts and seeds, etc are fresh and tasty. It arrives well packaged with paper and card but I look forward to the plastic bags that the food comes in to be replaced with a biodegradable alternative.”

Hi there, Thank you for your review. We have checked and the batch of organic walnut pieces that you have received is very fresh to us. We monitor our stock levels carefully to ensure that we are able to offer our customers the very best quality and freshest products possible at all times. We are at the end of the current crop year of organic walnuts and this is why the walnuts are not as good quality as when they are first harvested. Walnuts are particularly troublesome at this time of year due to the volatile oils in them. Unfortunately, walnuts can become less sweet as time progresses after harvesting. The new crop of walnuts should be with us very shortly and we hope that the next batch of organic walnuts that you order will be more to your liking. Kind regards,
