“The items that I purchased on this occasion were all of a good standard but when rating Forest Whole Foods in general, I have knocked off a star as I found most of the nuts that I have bought in the past to be very disappointing: to the extent that I will not be purchasing any again. In particular, the Luxury Mixed Nuts were musty tasting and the walnuts contained many that had gone off. I had to throw both of these items away. As they were sampled very soon after delivery, it was not a storage problem in my home. I am also disappointed that items are packed in plastic bags. But on the plus side, the Delivery Service is excellent.”

Hi there Sheila, Thank you so much for your 4 star review despite the issues that you have raised. We are at the end of the current crop year Oct 2021-Oct 2022 and this is why the nuts are not as good quality as when they are first harvested. Walnuts are particularly troublesome at this time of year due to the volatile oils in them. New crops will be with us very shortly. The plastics bags we use are the most sustainable option for the planet. 99.9% of our packaging is recyclable and can be recycled at your local supermarket. Kind regards
