We are not sure which product you are referring to, please advise. If a cleaning product has been used on a resin driveway it is likely to have cleaned the surface exposing a mark which previously existed - the most likely culprit being oil. Possibly the beginnings of black spot lichen which requires a particularly kind of specialist cleaning agent.

“Well thankfully floorseal did the job. I followed the instructions and thought smells just like bleach. Got the wife to come out and see the results which were looks good but smells like bleach. Have I paid £30 for a bottle of bleach one thinks. The internet says bleach can be used in the right measurements 🤷‍♂️ Regards Ian”

“Obtaining was ok, and I got a quick response from the company to photos that I sent with my query. but despite recommending the patio spring clean , it made no impression on removing staining from my porcelain tiled patio. I used neat, several times , to no avail. Disappointed, £36 wasted, still found no product to remove staining.”

Perhaps a little unfair? You could not identify what the stain was or where it was coming from. As you have found nothing that can remove the mark prior to asking our advice or since suggests you cannot ID the issue. We can only advise based on likelihood of removal - we advised testing a product and gave an alternative even though we do not manufacture/sell/stock the alternative. Your enquiry stated the below - My new porcelain patio, a few weeks old, edged with logs. I think something from the logs has caused the stain but not sure. Tried baking soda, white vinegar and washing up liquid etc, but nothing moving. Keen to find a cleaner that will remove the staining. Our reply - We would recommend testing Floorseal Porcelain Patio Spring Clean as the staining looks like tannin. Test undiluted. You could also try oxalic acid, but we do not manufacture this type of product.

“Indian sandstone sealer and colour intensifier: I found easy to apply. Only time will tell how good the sealing is (when I first drop a bottle of red wine!) but the colour is intensified and looks good.”

“Disappointed. I asked the company whether their concrete sealer could be painted over with an appropriate concrete floor paint. They said yes. I purchased a deep penetrating floor sealer from them and applied it as per manufacturers instructions. I then found out that deep penetrating concrete sealer can't be painted over so I'm stuffed.”

Our advice was correct - The enquiry you made was regarding over painting Floorseal Concrete Floor Sealer our reply was - Floorseal Concrete Floor Sealer is over paintable with a masonry paint after sealing – allow at least 24 hrs before doing so. It appears you then purchased a penetrating sealer which is not over paintable. Our advice was correct based on the question asked, we have no control over which product was purchased online at a later date.

“Having paid every year (for the last 9 years) to get the professionals in to do an annual clean on our Indian sandstone patio, we decided that it was time to save some money and DIY it ourselves. After recommendations via Chat GPT, Floorseal’s Natural Stone Cleaner and Sealer came highly recommended. Not a cheap purchase (compared to off the shelf alternatives) but absolutely worth every penny. We are delighted with the result and can highly recommend these products. A Bruce Aberdeen”
