“Didn't want to be all the gear, no idea! Having recently bought my first nflatable kayak after reading the pros and cons, and watching countless YouTube videos, I finally settled on one. Next was some paddles and buoyancy aid. Noing very little about these, I sought advice on both of these purchases. The paddles work well (glass fibre 2 piece) from my limited knowledge (far better) than the 4 piece aluminium which a mate has for his paddle board. I ordered a couple of buoyancy aids based on the recommendations, the Palm Meander High Back works well for me for the seats I have in my Gumotex Thaya. As a novice, this helped massively in streamlining my first purchases in the world of kayaking.”

“I ordered a Yak highback PFD online and it was delivered within 48hrs. Unfortunately I found it rather bulky so I arranged to return it in person and collect a Palm highback PFD , so a quick exchange the following morning. The credit for the returned PFD was back in my account within two days.”

“I bought a sevylor Ottawa from you early this year but couldn’t really review it until we’d used it. Well the whole experience was a positive one. Ordering was easy, staff were very helpful, answering my numerous emails and product arrived well packaged. We have now had a great extended holiday in Scotland (west coast) and Northumberland. The kayak was fab and we had great fun in it, we saw so much wildlife from it and the seals in particular were very interested and followed us. Thanks”

“The buoyancy aids arrived very promptly and are exactly as described. The children are delighted with them and have worn them every time they go in the sea or the river. Good flexibility on size as ours are 7, 8 and 9 and fit them all with room for growth.”
