Upon reviewing the situation, I can see that you have been in contact with our customer service team and it appears that your order was returned to us due to an incomplete address. Unfortunately, without the complete and accurate address details, our shipping partners are unable to deliver the package successfully. We understand your frustration regarding the additional postage charge required for reshipping the order. While we strive to provide the best service possible, we also rely on accurate address information to ensure timely delivery. In cases where orders are returned to sender due to incomplete addresses, we are required to charge for reshipping to cover the additional postage costs incurred. -MH

Received 4 copper stag glasses for Christmas one year and was over the moon. 3 years later the last one has just given up. One had the bottom fall off, one cracked when an ice cube was inserted and two had the stag just fall off. My partner contacted the company when the first one went only to be told this wasn’t typical of the product and they couldn’t do anything. We now have 4 copper stags without glasses looking very forlorn in our whisky cabinet. A shame. Superficially an excellent product but a few years down the line I feel this is aj affront to Sheffield metallurgy.

Delivery never arrived, still waiting. Delivery person did not leave a note, we still have no idea how to retrieve the package. Christmas gift ruined.

Disappointed! This flask was for a grandson's 21st birthday, it arrived in a most timely manner, but when he opened it on his December 15th birthday, there was no engraving as ordered - Cyrus A. Vella. We would like to return it for the engraving - please advise. As the purchaser, my name is Dawnna McDougall, NOT Dawnna Vella as on the invoice - ???

Arrived smashed then replacements arrived and without my knowledge left outside found the 2 days later boxes wet through and was going to be a Christmas gift. Certainly won't be using again

Hi Pam, I can see that we received your email in regards to this on Monday and we have exchanged emails in regards to your parcel. Your replacement was posted on Tuesday and an investigation opened with Royal Mail. The replacement parcel is showing as delivered today (22nd November). Instead of querying my order, you dispatched 3 engraved items exactly the same. Surely you would have questioned an obvious error? I am now stuck with 3 identical items to the tune of £189.

Hi Sharynne Many customers do order multiple items with the same engraving and from looking at your order each flask was added to the cart separately so this would not have been questioned when we received your order. I regret to inform you that, in accordance with our company policy, we are unable to accept returns for personalised duplicate items. Personalised duplicates are created based on your specific preferences, and the production process is initiated immediately upon receiving your order to ensure timely delivery. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may lead to the unintentional ordering of duplicate items, and we sympathise with any inconvenience this may cause. The item arrived incorrectly engraved i contacted the company someday and sent photos of error including my original invoice. I was informed as it was Friday the item would not be dispatched until Monday. I explained i needed it for the next Sunday it never arrived. I phoned the company and was informed the items location but never got it until four days after the event. Terrible experience and HAD been using them for about 5two years bye bye English Pewter Company.

The adhesive didn't hold the pewter initial on the wine glass. It came loose in the box. My mistake, I tried to adhere it myself with a super-glue and ruined the glass.

If you are ordering a product to be shipped outside the UK, beware and consider a different company. Unfortunately, I can't recommend English Pewter Company due to their very deceptive shipping charges that resulted in me having to pay the DHL delivery driver €20 to release the package. I ordered a flask for £57 and paid an extra £18 for shipping and taxes upon checkout for delivery to Germany. After paying another €20 to DHL when delivered, that's roughly £35 total for shipping and taxes on a £57 item. When I contacted customer service, I was told there was a "one-liner" in the shipping terms and conditions that indicate they are not liable for import taxes on international deliveries. After a follow-up email responding, they ghosted me. You are a UK-based company that likely processes a lot of sales to customers in the EU. You should know exactly what these extra charges are and account for them at checkout. It's ridiculous and dishonest and you don't disclose them because the sale is more important and the customer doesn't find out about the exorbitant extra costs until the product is delivered. Ok, you got me this time, but I'll now make sure others are warned before deciding for themselves whether to do business with your company.

Poor Quality, material frayed, cardboard inner broken. Box itself looked OK on closer inspection screws holding the closing clasp were too small for the holes that were drilled. Sent email, no reply 👎

Order made on 27.02. Not received to date. I made an order with a shipment to UAE. Paid for Royal Mail. Time provided to receive the shipment - 5 days. Their CS came back saying that they need a PO BOX for a shipment to Dubai - those don't exist so the package was returned by Royal Mail. The company is now saying I need to pay for the shipment AGAIN so they ship with a dummy PO BOX to please Royal Mail and manage the shipment. If Monty Python would need materials for their next sketch - I am sure those guys can provide plenty! Find a different place to buy - especially, if you're looking for a present and you care for the time of deliverry to be as the company states. I am now questioning all the positive reviews you can find here...

Hi, As previously discussed via email. Your order was originally posted via Royal Mail on 28th February and then returned to us on 13th March due to the address missing a PO Box number. We contacted you immediately to inform you that the parcel had been returned due to an incomplete address. We advised you that we required a PO Box number to resend the parcel and confirmed the cost of both Royal Mail and UPS shipping. You were then able to provide us with a PO Box number to resend the parcel. Had the parcel been returned to us due to a mistake on our part we would have been more than happy to stand to the cost to resend the parcel back to you, however the parcel was returned due to an incomplete address that was provided when you placed your order and for this, we required you to make payment for the cost to resend the parcel. A refund has since been issued for the two glasses and gift wrap. Kind Regards -MH
