I bought 4 new khumo (non run flat) tyres online from your website (recommendation of tyres via my numberplate), for my 730d. Booked a slot and took time away from work to drop the car off in the morning. Upon taking the car in, I was told that they couldn't be fitted because the current wheels had run flats on them (and that they cant fit tyres they dont recommend). I said I was aware but the tyres were not runflats, but they where listed as recommended for my car online on your website. The chap then said they obviously make cars from the factory with runflats or non runflats but they can't fit either, if it differs to what is on the car, even if the customer requests and they are recommended via the website provided by yourselves. So this then left me with four new tyres and fitting services declined. No rebate was given off the price for not fitting the tyres, "tyre fitting is included free" so I was told. leaving me with four tyres at the original price that I had to take to a rival garage to get fitted at a extra cost of £80 labour (they had no issues fitting non runflats, they said they would only not fit them if you where trying to put a Non run flat on the same axle as a run flat, which is fairly standard logic). Point being, no where on the website or in the store does it say the policy you wont fit non run flats to a car that currently has run flats or viceversa.

I took my car to Elite as the clutch had failed. They fitted a new one. I picked the car up and the clutch felt really loose. I returned the car and they said it needed bleeding. I left the car with them. When I collected the car and drove it home, it felt a little better but I still wasn’t confident that it was all right. I drove to work at Cottesmore Golf Club. There was a loud bang from under the car. I jumped out and looked under the car. I couldn’t see anything. I was worried being on a busy country road . I managed to get the car in gear and turned into the entrance of Cottesmore. There was another loud noise, a workman came running towards me and looked at the car. We couldn’t see anything. I called out the RAC who towed it back to Elite at Mannings Heath. This was in December 22 and January of this year. The gear box had imploded. I am in dispute now with Elite . I have had the car stored and a second opinion has shown that I need a new clutch and gearbox . Elite are now not answering my emails. I have sent an email to the MD he has not responded. I have just been informed by my insurance company that their solicitors will look at my case now. I am so disappointed and stressed by this whole event. I have asked for a meeting but no response.

If you order your tyres elsewhere (Black Circles etc) Elite will give you a hard time. They don’t give you an appointment and find any way they can not to fit them, like they’re a member of a club they don’t want to belong to. In my case they spotted the load rating of 88 was lower than the 94 fitted, even though 88 was fine for my car. I had to go away to gather evidence and do the calculation myself. They eventually fitted on a second visit, then damaged my rims as they don’t use a rim protector.

My Abarth was damaged during a tyre fitting at Elite Garages Canterbury on the near side front brake caliper and near side skirt trim, which can be seen in pictures below. The vehicle was immaculate before the fitting and I have a pre - appointment walkaround video as evidence. Blackcircles / Elite Garages Canterbury have not accepted responsibility.

Very disappointed booked car in for service and Mot failed due to broken back on passenger wing mirror (not a mot fail in fact not part of mot) front light bulbs needed replacement and other mechanical problems felt let down that they did not do service BEFORE mot so that faults could be rectified I have now taken car to garage down the road who I feel confident will do a good job.

Raomund was rude and unprofessional. He did not want my custom and provided inaccurate advice which is worrying. Artur on the other hand was great. I will not be recommending Elite Garages to anyone.

Took the car for an MOT. Elite Garages failed it due to side lights flashing at the rear with the hazard lights on. They advised that I contact an auto electrician as they could not work on the 'fault'. They supplied a number. The auto electrician looked for 10 minutes and then said there was absolutely nothing wrong with my car and that was what was supposed to happen and the car should not have failed - he called Elite to tell them this which they accepted. The auto electrician charged £20 for the callout and said Elite should pay this as it was their mistake. They refused. Customer lost. Shocking customer service.

Unfortunately really disappointed with the results of having new tyres fitted to my car. I can live with the wheels being filthy as I can clean them but what I find unacceptable are chips and scratches to my alloy wheels. I have used Elite Garages for many years and this standard of work is disheartening and regrettably will stop me from using their services in the future.

Called into Maidstone branch at 5.37 this evening with rim already off in another car had two punctures needed this with a new tyre and spare replaced the other one. So a simple tyre replace, did not need to remove or replace on a car. just the rim. Was told that company does not pay overtime and not willing to help even though new tyre should be replaced within 15 minutes, next garage done it in ten minutes. This sort of attitude is what makes companies fail, I am an employer and would dread to think my staff would chase customers away in such a manner. The manager did not have to do the job, there was two people standing talking in the workshop

Put car in to fix a problem charged for parts but still not fixed the problem. Then told i need a new gear box, so took to another garage who fixed the issue. Will not be using elite garage ever again!!

6 hour wait for 2 tyres to be changed,that were booked to be done, I also paid for a tyre repair which was done and 10 minutes later was flat, got done elsewhere which was much better value and service, they are very understaffed and that’s affecting their customer service sadly.

The service was all it should be... Caution to leaving any valuables or personal items in your car as when you return they may not be there as someone has sticky fingers.

Had 2 tyres to be changed but they broke my locking nut and then tried to tell me it was damaged before it has not been used before as the van is 2 years old and not had any tyres changed on it so this cost me £38.40 for a new one then went back to have them changed they took over 1 hour and 20 mins to do so not really good enough.

Air Con problem: not working. Told needed new fan (£300) plus labour (£400). Went to another garage - no gas in cylinder! Regassed for £60 and works perfectly. At same time needed new tyre: quoted £117 which was same as identical tyre from tyrefitters (including disposal, balancing etc). Went ahead and bill was £152. Complained and was told "sorry we should have quoted the all inclusive price instead"

Great garage but is not for changing tyres 😃😃😃😂😂 They couldn't unscrew the Locking Wheel Nuts I've been to different garage And they opened Without any problems🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Won't be going back again. Over 3.5hrs to fit tyres and do tracking. Total joke from start to finish. Won't be recommending. Management full of excuses which weren't my problem. Would never have used them if I had known the trouble it would be

The tyre fitter has destroyed one of my alloy wheels and never mentioned at the time. Found the damage a few days after when cleaning the bead lube from the wheel.

I brought my mini to elite for an mot on 5/4 It failed on a tyre and wing mirror which they sorted and I paid for. It also failed it’s emissions. The young man looked into why and said for £120 they’d change the spark plugs and run a petrol cleaner through it. I decided to get it checked by a mechanic who specialises in minis. He replaced the spark plugs air filter and oil. He also took it to have its emissions checked at another mot garage where it passed. This was on the 12/4. On the 16/4 I returned to elite for the retest an older man asked me what work I’d had done which I told him. I also left the emissions pass sheet in the car to show him. 20 minutes later he came and sat next to me in the waiting room. He was very patronising and condescending. He told me that it had failed again. The test showed that the reason was a broken catalytic converter. This was NEVER mentioned when it failed originally. Before he could quote me a price or recommend a garage they use for work they can’t do I asked for my keys and left. Today I took time off work to take it to another garage to have it moted again. I’d done nothing more to it yet it PASSED!!! I feel that because I took my car to someone else for the original repair the man at elite was trying to intimidate me into having something unnecessary done his whole manner was condescending I feel that’s because I’m a woman. It cost me £50 for another mot test but it showed me that not all garages treat women drivers like they’re idiots. Maybe just big concerns like elite do. Whereas the smaller garages are perhaps just more honest.

I was promised that my car will be as good as new and came back with problems I didn’t have before!! All I had from the garage is lies!! The insurance company told me that the garage will take my car to Honda to change the brakes and take for a test drive to check what the cause of the clunking noise is but the garage changed the brakes themselves and I still have the same problem with new squeaking noises from the new brakes!!
