Pity. The description does not state the female orifice dimension for their Boiling Water Filter which is a non-standard size. I state non-standard, as I have two units from two different manufacturers using the same female orifice dimensions. But Hey, they made an exorbitant profit for a paper filter that doesn't fit and cannot be drilled out as the wall thickness of this filter is far too thin. The whole Boiling Water Unit industry is rife with disposable products fitted that have to be changed regularly at incredibly inflated prices for a product that costs a few pence to produce.

Thank you for your feedback, David. This item suits the EVO tap (which wasn’t purchased from our selves) and so you might have purchased the wrong filter. Also the specification on the website along with the dimensions. Our price is normally the cheapest even including delivery. Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your experience. We are very grateful.

It was not shown how the tal fixes onto the sink. With my 40mm work top and double butler sink the screw thread fitting was too short. I had to order a new part at a cost of £20. Supply more details with your products! Arrived quickly..in a Budweiser beer box.

Ordered in error the wrong orientation. They didn't actually jave the right hand one that I needed and wouldn't refund in spite of the fact it was new and untouched. Great shame...this will be a total waste of £200.

You contacted us 12 weeks after receiving the panel. Our policy states that we don’t take goods back after 28 days of receipt, but we did offer to arrange collection and part refund at the time as it fell within the 3 month returns time limit of the supplier. Yes it was certainly a shame, and we are sorry that we couldn't provide the resolution that you wanted on this occasion.

They don’t seem to have the items in stock that I required even though they are on website for sale. Waited 2 weeks for one and cancelled the other as never came in when they said it would. However the do reply to mail and the phone.

Called in at the local store. Service from member of staff was unhelpful. We asked if the tap was available from the shop as we live in Doncaster. Were asked for the product code which I didn't have but could describe the tap in detail. Was told to show the member of staff from my phone, unfortunately by battery ran out so was unable to access the internet. Not at any time did the member of staff offer to look up the product on the shop's computer but was told to go home and order online. Was told that delivery would be refunded if we arranged to collect in store so I suppose that was a positive but felt so annoyed that than that we were not helped in any way. Ordered the tap online which was very easy and had it delivered to home as we did not want to go back into the shop. Ironically we are looking to upgrade our bathroom in the next few months but would certainly not use Doncaster Kitchen and Bathrooms after our experience .

Dear Customer, So sorry that you had such a bad experience when visiting our shop. Unfortunately, there are so many similar looking taps from a range of manufacturers that we could not pin it down from your description, despite going through the brochures with you. It really is a shame that your phone stopped working because as it turns out, you ended up ordering one that we had shown in a brochure – this is how tricky it can be to find something without the product code. We do try our best in every way possible to help our customers and we will now be placing a tablet device in the shop with online access to the internet store. Not very happy as the cistern that was sent was faulty!! Had to pay the plumber to fit it and then it wasn’t refilling the cistern, so couldn’t use the toilet. Called you for help but just told me to call Dudley on Monday. Not acceptable to send faulty goods.

The Dudley toilet cistern delivered is a fantastic product but unfortunately after ordering and paying I received an email saying I needed to pay more money for delivery to North Scotland. Felt as if I was held to ransom. Invoice only included original paid postage. Other websites flash up this problem at checkout

Thank you for your feedback Andrew. We are really sorry about this and have now added a message in our checkout page that clarifies the situation. We try to keep our online prices and shipping costs to an absolute minimum but in some cases our standard fee just does not cover our costs to a particular destination.
