“The lights I ordered weren’t available so they recommended the alternative as a direct replacement which I accepted. But they have a larger diameter and so I have to enlarge all the holes to make them fit. Poor advice.”

“3 new mains smoke alarms purchased, arrived on time, fitted and working. Marked down as packaging was badly severely damaged on arrival, enough to raise concern of product damage”

“I bought a British General unpopulated high integrity consumer unit. Very happy with the purchase. Would have given a higher rating but it's a shame shop 4 electrical forgot to dispatch it. But after waiting a week it got sorted with a quick email and got delivered the next day.”

“Got what I wanted at a decent price. Order placed 23/12/21. I chased up my order on 4/1/22 and was told that the item had not available for despatch when I placed the order. It arrived the following day.”

“Not up to your usual standard I am afraid. In the electrical industry a whole week from order to delivery is too long and leaves us with a customer bending our ear about finishing times and us having to make repeat visits or carry more van stock.”

“Ordered some old MK Sentry MCB blanking plates. Hard to find new ‘old stock’ so pleased you had them. However, the photo showed a double position blank, while the description said it was a single blank. MK produce these as doubles which can then be snapped to make two singles if required. I needed 4 positions covered, so ordered 4 as worst case. Four singles arrived quickly. The postage was extortionate and the total cost for four bits of plastic was nearly £16. I felt fleeced.”

“The order itself is fine. However, next day delivery (specifically required for a job) was not, as FedEx, once again, messed up the delivery by sending half of it to the wrong depot (Luton instead of Leicester): so, delivery took an extra day, and so the job for which the cable was required has had to be delayed.”
