“Hi:) It was my son's birthday 🥳 . It was his first experience trying such high climbing frames. It was fun for him and his brother. It was scary at first, but after trying a few times, they managed to reach the red button on the top. Especially after offering my young boy a £5 note for reaching the top of any frame for the first time 😅. I am happy that my boys enjoyed. For me, as for the organiser of the entertainment for them, it was challenging. When we arrived, I found out that I paid online for the wrong activity. I booked Rock Up soft play, not climbing frames. I was explained that it is the same place, but a different company. So I had to pay again. Luckily, there was the space for us for that day. The timetable online says that Rock up works till 19:00. But that day it worked till 18:00. I don't know why. We were asked to leave the climbing area at 17:40, 20 minutes before the closure time. That means my boys enjoyed climbing frames during 40 minutes. I paid for their tickets £33,90. It was expensive for me for 40 min fun. I think I just wasn't lucky that day. The main for me that my boys with 6 years gap enjoyed.”
“Great for little legs as the farm is smaller to walk around. Love that a nursery is attached and would hope they get to get involved either learning how to care for the animals or get the knowledge of planting fruits and veg.
Great indoor adult and kid soft play and a great outdoor park. Probably not suitable or 12+ as not much for them to do.”
“Easy to use and navigate. Booked through this rather than direct at the website and saved a few quid of booking processing fee. Tickets came instantly and had no issues”
“Kids pass makes everything so much cheaper and easier. Helping low income familys experience so much more fun weather its a get away or just a fun day out. Prices can be 50% less than average or even free for kids, customer service team are amazing making any situations feel less stressful and complicated. Returns and refunds are average waiting time but still very straight forward.”
“We arrived at 11am and plenty of animals to see. We stopped for lunch in the cafe which was lovely and then walked around for another animal view but there were hardly any animals to see. So9 was really pleased we got there when we did 😀”
“It was my grandson first day at port lympne zoo, with nanny. We got their and went straight to the safari tour and his face lit up and thoroughly enjoyed it,we w not and had our packed lunch near the safari cafe on a bench when a seagull swooped down on his head for his food and it frightened him so he wanted to go home, so as much as it was lovely we didn't get to see the gorillas and other animals sadly”
“Always loved Chester Zoo as a kid and it was just the same for my Kids this time round. Marked as 4 stars due to the lack of halal/veggie eatery options and the price of everything. It’s all so expensive, £21 for a flamingo bubble machine, seriously?”
“A great day out with good educational exhibits
A bit dear unless you have discounted tickets, which make it more reasonable
Well worth a visit especially for kids as it’s very interesting and educational”
“A last minute decision with my granddaughters, 13 and 9.Arrived on a chilly morning to find a busy carpark and plenty of families. Lovely to see and so easy and efficient to enter the zoo its self.
Animals well spaced with informative info about them. Lots of busy picnic areas.
A good 2.5 hours. Could have spent longer but getting cold.”
