“As a parent, I’ve been using Dayoutwiththekids to find places to go with my child for 8 years now. Not just to find places but to be reminded of what there is, as where we live there’s just so much to do! (and I’m a bit scatterbrained!)
If it’s a rainy day, then a quick change to the filter and up pops everything indoors including any info relative to each venue. Not only this, but with the Kidspass membership, I’m shown any discounts available. As a severely disabled lone parent on an extremely tight budget (disability benefit) I find this invaluable, not to mention all details regarding each attraction’s accessibility info, is either listed or can be found quickly via the link to the venue’s website.
I have used the site whenever we’ve gone away within the UK, just selected ‘Near me’ and I’m shown every local activity including the nearest swimming pools, local indoor & outdoor attractions and activities - sorted. No more having to search endlessly online, just click on Dayoutwiththekids and ta-da!
The Kidspass membership also gives discounts on restaurants, cinemas, takeaways (very useful when caravanning!!) as well as many retail discounts, in addition to all the discounts on attractions/places to go. It always surprises me what there is on there!
I probably sound like an employee of Dayoutwiththekids but I can assure you I’m just a long time user of the website who was happy enough to leave a positive review.
You don’t have to take the Kidspass membership (although you can try it for a month for £1!), the Dayoutwiththekids website is still completely free to use! The membership is for discounts :)”
“I will have to cancel this waste of my 1 pound all the attraction on offer are far to drive and not worth non on my area
on offer not willing to drive for 25mile and only to save 69p”
“Helps me plan my kids days out and keeps us United as a family otherwise we wouldn’t know half of the places we have been to it’s opened are eye to more fun and activities for the lot of us thank god for this brilliant app”
“I had a free three-month trial that I hoped to use over the summer. I wasn't able to get any of the days out cheaper as the discount codes I wanted to use were unavailable or skipped to full price
However it was good for ideas for days out.”
“It's been great getting some good offers, deals and general ideas of things to do with my daughter without having to spend ages searching. I got the VIP pass deal for £9.99 and it has been absolutely more than worth it.”
