“Thank you for running the workshop for us and being so flexible with rescheduling the date in light of the Teacher strike day. Overall, the children were very excited to be part of the workshop. They loved the props, especially being under the Dragon. I wish we could have had more time per class. Thank you again for a wonderful experience.”

Thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback! We love to hear how the workshops have run and the experience had. It is great to hear that the children enjoyed their Chinese Dance Workshop with Jo and had a great time with our Dragon. In regards to learning about Chinese culture - this is actually scheduled to be covered at the start of each session. We understand from speaking with Jo that a number of the sessions started late due to classes over running. Whilst we appreciate that this does sometimes happen, unfortunately, when sessions start late we have to cut our content short to adhere to the timetable that is shared and agreed upon when the booking is confirmed. We hope the children look back on their wonderful experience and carry on to enjoy dance and learning! We would love to visit you again to share more happy Dance Days! Melanie@DanceDays.

“Darren joined us during our Diversity Week celebration for 2 days of multicultural dance workshops. The routines Darren taught were engaging, motivating and pitched perfectly to the different age ranges - his enthusiasm was fabulous! When working with whole class groups he also took time to work with individual children to ensure all children were able to get as much out of the session as possible. The feedback from children and staff has been nothing but positive and we hope to welcome Dance Days back in the future. Thank You!”

The workshop was of good content and we really enjoyed all the resources and being able to use them within the dance. Resources as in music and a music system being brought was also very helpful. “Laura held sessions with classes across the day. She is such an inspiration and so enthusiastic - a delight to have in our school. Children talked about her last visit for Commonwealth day but they enjoyed the Chinese New Year dance day celebration even more because of the added props. All year groups had great results, producing dances that progressed in difficulty according to age. We have already booked for World Bool Day and children are already looking forward to learning with Laura again.”

“The children had an amazing time exploring the movements and music of African dancing. From 3-year-olds to 11-year-olds, they were all thoroughly engaged and loved the experience. Even the more reluctant children got involved and were so excited about the event. Leigh was fantastic with all the children and was brilliant in her expectation, communication and manner with the different age groups. The whole school assembly at the end of the day gave the children the opportunity to showcase what they had learnt. They were so proud of themselves and each other. A reception pupil said ' I nearly cried happy tears, the other classes were so good!'. The impact of the day has left a lasting impression. Children are enthused. It has increased the number of children attending our dance club.”
