“We held a whole school Spanish Day on the 24th April. I booked Dance Days to lead a Flamenco dance session for all classes from Reception through to Year 6. It was incredibly easy to book through the online system and Darren was able to answer all of my questions promptly over email (everything was organised within a day). Louise (our dance teacher) arrived on time and well prepared for her sessions. She easily transitioned her sessions between year groups and had all children engaged and excited to take part, even bringing in fans to use as props and show the cultural aspect of their use through dance. Everyone raved about their dance sessions and it was the favourite part of the children’s day. I have even had fellow teachers ask for Dance Days contact details to arrange sessions to bring dance into our History topics also. I can’t thank this professional team enough for really bringing our topic alive and look forward to organising further events.”

“We cannot thank you enough for bringing our 1948 Coronation day to life. Each year group was able to learn a dance from the era and this really helped to make our celebrations unforgettable. “Christie arranged three very different dance workshops for our Reception, Year one and Year two children. Christie was fantastically engaging and made the dances accessible to all of our children. Not only did she teach an easy to follow dance routine but she also taught the children a little bit about the era that the dance was from to give the dance context, making it all the more interesting for the children to learn.”

“On Friday 5th May Dance Days came to St Peter's for a UK/British dance themed workshop to help us celebrate the coronation. Amy worked with all our classes from EYFS up to year 6. The children had a great time and were all engaged and focused. Amy had a lovely manner with the children, she broke the dances down into manageable, small steps and she even got our year 6 boys dancing! Would highly recommend both Amy and the workshop.”

“Had a brilliant session. Louise was fantastic, made the children feel very relaxed, and clear instructions given. I loved how the dance sessions were broken into sections, easier for the children to remember! The selection of dances was very varied and supported our 'cultural capital' approach. Louise was brilliant with our SEN children, and adapted her teaching to suit their needs (she went to their classroom, rather than using the hall, and all children joined in (we thought that some wouldn't do it, but they all did!).”
