“Easily contactable with a session to suit our needs. Lynsey was superb. Engaged all children throughout the session, which culminated in a performance that the children thoroughly enjoyed and are proud of. Gave relevance to the performance by recalled facts about The Great Fire of London, which the children applied in their learning later on. Thank you for an amazing session, our children loved it!”

“We were so pleased with our International Dance experience: Holly, the teacher, was excellent and she taught the children a range of dances across the day which they were fully engaged in. Holly was full of enthusiasm and energy, and was such a dynamic and fabulous teacher. The children loved her workshops and she interacted with them in such a fun and clear way. I don't know how she managed to keep going all day at such a high level. Thank you so much!”

Each KS2 class had a taster of different styles of dance, but when Darren happened to find out that Year 6 was studying a particular topic, he then adapted the dance style to the context of their learning! It was accessible for all, energetic and enjoyable, joyous, positively challenging, celebrated diversity and was expertly broken down into manageable steps. Thank you Darren!”

“All the children at Iveson thoroughly enjoyed the dance day’s workshops. I had some incredible feedback about the sessions. For instance, it made the children feel powerful. The workshops were fun, exciting and it was nice to learn different dances. The instructor catered for all year groups appropriately and modelled the steps the dance effectively for the children to be highly engaged.”

“We chose a Commonwealth Dance Day to help us to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles in school. All the children and staff had a fantastic day. The day was well organised with the dances being challenging but achievable for all. The teacher led the children brilliantly with enthusiasm which made it impossible for them not to be engaged. “We can't thank Darren enough for his French Dance Day workshop. From emailing and organising, to his professionalism on the day! The children very much enjoyed learning two dances and the boys were inspried to meet a male ballet dancer. We hope to invite Darren and the team back for another workshop soon. To make it even better we had some ideas - perhaps including a couple of props during the dances - flag for each child for example - Although the children loved the variety of the two dances, Y3 would have been better to spend the 40 minutes on just one dance so they could practise and perfect it in the time given These are just small things that we have seen other companies do that work well :) Thank you so much again Darren! best wishes, Gabriella from Chigwell School”

“We held a whole school Spanish Day on the 24th April. I booked Dance Days to lead a Flamenco dance session for all classes from Reception through to Year 6. It was incredibly easy to book through the online system and Darren was able to answer all of my questions promptly over email (everything was organised within a day). Louise (our dance teacher) arrived on time and well prepared for her sessions. She easily transitioned her sessions between year groups and had all children engaged and excited to take part, even bringing in fans to use as props and show the cultural aspect of their use through dance. Everyone raved about their dance sessions and it was the favourite part of the children’s day. I have even had fellow teachers ask for Dance Days contact details to arrange sessions to bring dance into our History topics also. I can’t thank this professional team enough for really bringing our topic alive and look forward to organising further events.”

“Christie arranged three very different dance workshops for our Reception, Year one and Year two children. Christie was fantastically engaging and made the dances accessible to all of our children. Not only did she teach an easy to follow dance routine but she also taught the children a little bit about the era that the dance was from to give the dance context, making it all the more interesting for the children to learn.”
