“surprised to receive this now because our last order was in June? However no problem - delighted with the furniture and the service. The order was for some additional chairs but the patio set was purchased last year and still in great condition. The delivery was speedy and on time. For the price the quality is outstanding - no hesitation in recommending your products to others.”

“Ordered was significant;y delayed, and when I chased it at the Depot I was told the table was delivered to them damaged, but Humber Imports told them to deliver it anyway! Eventually cancelled the order and went elsewhere.”

“I bought the Paris table and 6chairs the table was great very solid and should last for many years the chairs however have broken where the arms join the body on 1 of them and another had a bad stain on it's arm . Humber imports promptly sent me 2 more free of charge but unfortunately 1 of them was delivered with broken arms . I also bought a bench which is great .”

“I bought a small woodburning room heater from Humber imports to replace a gas fire in our front room, It arrived very quickly, although we do live quite close. The delivery driver carried the stove into the house for me, and I fitted the flue liner and stove a few days later. This stove is excellent, it is easy to light, burns well and burns clean due to the secondary air inlet which delivers pre heated air above the flames, and burns all the wood gases. Once the stove is hot it looks as though there is a line of gas jets burning along the back of the stove, but this is the "top air" burning the smoke. This stove was not expensive! it cost less than £200 including delivery, it is european made and CE marked (NOT chinese) it is all cast iron, and works beautifully. Both my brother and a friend round the corner have fitted woodburning room heaters recently, and they paid over £800 for theirs, only one of the two has top air. The glass stays clean too, even though once lit, I run the stove with the main air inlet fully closed, and let the fire burn on the front and rear top air only. Riddling works well, and it produces very fine ash. Very Pleased. Phil Whitley, Driffield”

“We are very pleased with the service we received - both in terms of the delivery of the goods, and the quality/price of the table and chairs which we bought. They are much more stable than the ones they replaced, and the stacking chairs feel really solid (and comfortable). Additionally, we got covers for both the table and the chairs, and they look as though they are going to be effective. We could have bought cheaper, but not for the same quality - that's a route we've been down, and regretted!”

“Excellent communication and delivery lead-time reduced on request to meet our needs. The Deauville teak table and chair set purchased is of a very high quality with the table, in particular, being very sturdily built. We had a small issue with a crack in one of the chair back uprights (across the grain, so likely incurred in transit) but the chair was replaced immediately and without question - excellent service given that photo evidence was offered but was deemed by Humber Imports not to be necessary. It's refreshing to be taken on trust. It is important that the teak is oiled properly before use. We stupidly used ours once before treating with teak oil and the slightest amount of oil/grease, e.g. from crisp crumbs, will soak into the untreated timber as we discovered to our cost. One minor issue - the promised call from the 3rd party courier company to schedule delivery was never received and the 'sizeable' consignment arrived unannounced. This was slightly inconvenient given that we were having building work done at the time and there were already 6 tonnes of ballast in the drive on the day in question! Hopefully, Humber Imports will already have acted upon the feedback that we provided in this respect at the time but it is something to beware of.”
