I had an email stating “thanks for purchasing insurance from confused.com from yourselves” I do not own a car. I will need to check with confused.com whether my identity has been used to purchase car insurance now, but I assume reviews.co.uk has just sent out this badly worded email to everyone that has looked for a quote

the questions asked in the website do not always tick the relevant questions needed by the participating insurance company.

Having Hastings Direct on the confused.com website, is just going to lead to many customer complaints. Unhelpful staff, hidden fees, feel like I have been fleeced. Complaint made and letter sent out saying it has been solved, when no action contact was made. Would NEVER use confuse.com again, for home, car on any other insurance we buy.

I purchased my car insurance through Top Cashback. Confused. com advertised £30-00 cashback but I have not received it.

I got drawn in by a ‘beat your renewal’ promotion. Seemed simple at the time, I sent the information that was required from the criteria in the terms of the promotion but then they were looking for a policy schedule, something that I didnt have on my renewal email from my previous provider. I sent confused.com everything my previous insurance provider sent me on my renewal but this wasnt enough. After a couple of months of emails back and forward, it concluded that without this policy schedule, I can not receive the promotion. So now I am paying for a policy that is more expensive than my renewal. Worst decision. I will never use confused.com again.

confused.com send me a quote for my current car then they sent insurance documents for my old car which I had sold 3 years ago. this was through churchill insurance who blamed confused.com for passing on wrong insurance. this cost me a fortune. I ended up paying £150 more for my car insurance.

Conned me into thinking that if they could not beat my renewal price they would give me £20. I offered to show my renewal. They stated that they could only tell me if I qualified AFTER I purchased. of course, I did not qualify. A real confidence trick!

Pointless. Even though I submitted everything online, I was required to speak to the provider for over an hour - going over exactly the same information. All of the online stuff was a complete waste of time.

The operator did not tell me the truth. He said and confirm twice that he can add interested party on the policy. But he did not on the actual policy. Then i call customer service again , next agent said they cant add interested party but can send me another email regarding interested party
