Not a very good selection and dead against always having to give out a phone number just to see quotes as these people always call you regardless so immediately puts me off dealing with them

Works well until you try to use the conveyancers. It turns out conveyancing is not something easily done remotely, they rely on the post which is slow and you have to provide certified ID, from eg. a doctor of solicitor that you have to pay for, or they will do it if you 'pop in' to their office (which for me was a 200 mile round trip). I replaced mine with a local firm and I would advise anyone else to pay the extra fifty quid and use a local firm.

The service itself is not too bad however, they also share your contact details with all the companies that they get quotes for. Prepare for your phone and inbox to be crammed with calls and emails from desperate providers. One provider contacted me about 6 times in the first week.

Responses we’re quick to come. However, questions I asked afterwards were ignored and automatic messages sent asking me to sign up and pay. NOT HELPFULL.

Although I got the quotes I requested I was IMMEDIATELY inundated with annoying phone calls from all the providers and incessant spam e-mails ever since. Don't use this service unless you want to get hammered with follow-ups.

The ability to fine a quote online is great, but you keep getting pestered by unknown companies desperate to get you to sign up, telling you how good they are, they phone and email on a daily basis. Then when you look into the companies that are miles away! there fees are cheap, my gut feel is you get what you pay for, so I think best avoided. good try but I'm going to use a local solicitor who I can contact easily, or go and see if necessary. I urge you all to do the same if you want a smooth house selling transaction I think this is best avoided unless you are desperate to save a few quid and want to gamble.

Useful for finding cheaper quotes but be prepared to be bombarded with emails/phonecalls. The second after I clicked ‘submit’, I had 11 emails! Every day since then I’ve received multiple ‘reminder’ emails from each firm, that I’ve had to unsubscribe from. I’ve also had loads of annoying follow up phonecalls. This could be a brilliant website, it’s a real shame you’re then stalked by conveyors

If you want an idea of figures, then go ahead and use it HOWEVER prepare yourself and your inbox! I received 1 email from the site confirming my quotes from several companies. Which is what I expected. I also received individual emails from each company with 'the hard sell'. I also received 5 emails from 1 company in 36 hours, each too long to read. I only wanted an idea of costs, but this was a bit OTT.

Think twice about hitting submit. I’ve been hounded worse than PPI. I wanted quotes but got barraged with emails, calls, voicemails and texts. My god are they all short on cash? Went with a local solicitor in the end recommended by our estate agent. Won’t use again.

Just quotes very expensive. No problem with service.

It's not so much bad, but rather inadequate, in today's world, many sellers like me have more than one charge 'the mortgage lender' on their property, I have two secondary charges on my property all registered with the 'Land Registry', so to improve your quotes the conveyance companies need to have at least four alternative quotes, first is no mortgage, second mortgage only, third mortgage and one secondary charge, fourth would be mortgage and two secondary charges. They all need to be absolutely clear about the final cost, does it include VAT? It should be stated if each is a member of the 'Law Society' or now called 'The Office for the Supervision of Solicitors', it should state if they are members of the FSA? It should also state if they have adequate fraud protection for the seller, and state any compensation schemes in place for such. also are there hidden charges like money telegraphy charges, or other disbursements? For me an ideal compare site would have the seller type in all the relevant boxes before being directed to actual quotes.

Talk about opening the floodgates for spam email!

It was not clear what this service would deliver, I expected to have quotes presented to me through the website in a controlled manner that would make comparison easy. Instead my details were shared with numerous conveyancers who added me to mailing lists and sent a huge amount of unwanted sales emails and calls my way. Pretty much all of the conveyancer firms on the site also seem to have quite poor user reviews and I decided to avoid them all entirely.

All of the suggested companies have poor online reviews and the emails I have received off the back of using this site has been excessive. All of the correspondence was automated and chased daily when I didn't respond. I have gone with a local, personal company despite the price being much more, I didn't trust any of the others suggested. Perhaps you need to review who you're suggesting your customers should use?!

You passed on my email address and telephone number to all people quoting. I have been inundated with calls and Emails from them. I only used an online comparison as I did not want people phoning all the time. Never again. Not impressed!!

Harmony Law merely and continually send automated follow up emails but fail to respond to emails I have sent to them. An utter waste of time. Lambert Pugh, having quoted, are too busy to do the work. Another waste of time. Trying a third one now but not hopeful.

Several companies replied......that was the problem! One company sent five identical emails, and the others varying three to five identical emails. I had pages of the stuff. I had also been under the impression I would receive local conveyancer' details, not referrals to online firms scattered round the country. I will not trust something as important to me as selling my house to a computer to erminal, so I am sorry...I unsubscribe them and found someone local..it was a misunderstanding and a waste of time

I had four quotes almost immediately. The first was excellent and took account of the fact that the property was Buy to Let. They were also the cheapest. The remaining quotes ignored the Buy to Let element and the final amount quoted did not include this much higher Stamp Duty

I had a simple sale & purchase transaction so thought I could save some money by going to a comparison site. I received 5 quotes within minutes - great. I then received phone calls from 2 - not so great. I received emails from all 5 companies giving me more information and explaining why I should choose them- also great. Unfortunately this is where it started to unravel. 4 out of the 5 quotes were different from the summary from compare conveyancing. There was no standard format and items were included or excluded in the 'final' pricing. Prices were poorly presented and I had to read through the small print to make sure I had a like for like comparison which I don't think I should have to do. When necessary, I then emailed back to ask for clarification and only 1 of the companies set out their pricing clearly and with a 'final' price that matched their original quote. One company is now on the 4th email and quote - all different. No prices were greatly different but given the actual legal part of the price is about £1,000 then a price differential of £50 is 5% - quite a difference! One company had a price match/beat guarantee but they backed off pretty quickly when I showed them cheaper alternatives. So, I did save money from quotes from local solicitors and from those recommended by estate agents and I'm hoping that all of the legal stuff goes smoothly (too early to confirm but I have no reason to think otherwise at this stage). However, it was not a very easy process and you have to be very careful about accepting the right quote as once you have started you are locked in and I don't think all companies are as transparent and open as they should be in providing pricing information.

Far too many emails, inundated with pointless follow ups. Deleted all of them due to being overwhelmed. Went elsewhere.
