DO NOT USE THESE – No Customer Service and Coaches don’t turn up!! Where to start! The coach did NOT turn up! A coach was arranged for a company event to collect 35 people from Henham to take them to Kew Gardens. We confirmed by phone and email in days leading up to event, including day before. 6am - no coach arrived, called driver who had no idea about the trip and sounded like he was still in bed! Could not get hold of coach company office initially! After wasting at least 30 minutes trying to find out what was happening - we finally found out that the coach was not coming, or they could send one but they were not sure how long it would take to get to us!! After lots of phone calls I then had the pleasure of organising 35 people to either drive to Kew or drive to station to catch a train. This meant we had to travel on public transport during rush hour and arriving late for our company event. After leaving various complaints, it took the company over 9 days to respond to apologise that the driver had not received his booking details!! We are a service company ourselves and our workers know at least a week in advance what they are doing so cannot see how a coach company only tells its drivers the day before! And why was there no check to confirm the driver had received his job for the next day! Highly recommend that people do not use this company as they are not reliable.

Dear customer, Thank You for the feedback. All feed back even negative is good to receive as this helps us learn and improve. DRIVER ALLOCATING IS NOT AS SIMPLE AS YOU BELIEVE. DRIVERS AS STANDARD HAVE TO LEGALLY REST 11 HOURS PER DAY. IF WE HAD ALLOCATED A DRIVER A WEEK EARLIER AS YOU SUGGEST AND HE HAD BEEN DELAYED BY 3 HOURS ON A PREVIOUS BOOKING DUE A FERRY CROSSING, CUSTOMER DELAYING A COLLECTION, TRAFFIC ETC. THIS HAS A KNOCK ON EFFECT ON WHAT THAT DRIVER CAN DO TOMORROW. YOU CANNOT SIMPLY SAY TO A CUSTOMER THAT THE DRIVER YESTERDAY WAS DELAYED BY 3 HOURS, FOR HIM TO BE LEGAL HE NEEDS TO TAKE HIS 11 HOURS LEGAL REST, SO WE HAVE TO DELAY YOU BY 3 HOURS, WE CANNOT TELL THE DRIVER EITHER TO REDUCE HIS REST AND TAKE AN ILLEGAL BREAK SO EVERY DAY ALLOCATIONS HAVE TO WORK OUT DRIVER AVAILABILITY ASCERTAINING WHAT THEY CAN DO TOMORROW BASED ON WHAT TIME THEY FINISHED TODAY. IT IS A FOREVER MOVING TARGET AS EVERY DELAY HAS A KNOCK ON EFFECT. IT IS A LEGAL REQUIREMENT TO MAKE SURE DRIVERS TAKE LEGAL REST. YOU CAN NOT JUST PUT A NAME AGAINST A JOB AND HOPE FOR THE BEST, I ONLY WISH IT WAS THIS SIMPLE. YOU CONTINUALLY JUGGLE EVERY DAY TO ENSURE DRIVERS ARE LEGAL INCLUDING PUTTING THEM IN HOTELS IF YOU HAVE TO. MORNING DELAY It appears unfortunately that this error was in the busiest week of the year and it was down to simple human error. Control emailed & text the driver his duties for the following day, but did not check by phone when the driver had not confirmed. Morning dispatch is the busiest time of day and I can see on the phone log control returned your call after 15 minutes as soon as all the coaches were dispatched for the day. At this time they also realised Tony had not turned up as there was still a coach in the yard. Control advised your group the original coach was not coming & also advised they had redirected another coach that was nearby , but could not give an exact pick up time at that time due to traffic, but they had dispatched a coach We did respond to your complaint immediately advising we needed to investigate the circumstance and respond accordingly. This took 9 days in which you did keep requesting an immediate answer, We did explain we needed a fews days, which is not unreasonable as colleagues involved are on shift work and the driver was not immediately available to interview to understand why he did not confirm his work and why control did not pick up on the fact. Once the Operations Manager ascertained the facts he concluded it was simple human error due to shear volume of work in peak season as processes are in place to stop this from happening, but on this rare occasion they were not adhered to by control or the driver. AS a result even though a replacement coach had been dispatched a 100% refund was given. along with a sincerely apology
Please do not use them. they do not care about customers and are likely to leave you in the middle of nowhere with a useless driver. Unfortunately I have nothing good to say about this company. Other than to warn anyone thinking about using them to NOT TO DO SO !!!

As per Andy below. Driver wasn't trained to use the coach provided as couldn't work the A/C unit so had to rely on the top window being open on a packed bus. Driver then left the key in all afternoon which drained the battery. We then had to pay £90 each taxi (x four) to get back to Peterborough as some people needed to be back urgently. The fact they only offered £100 towards our layout on top of the coach hire is shocking. Spoilt a great day out. "you guys were still in the taxi queue and decided to continue with taxis as you would have to get taxi's in Peterborough anyway" WHAT A COMPLETE LIE. We walked off after telling your driver we could not wait around and got straight into taxi's that were waiting as he had told us it would of been another 45 mins to an hour. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

We used the company for a corporate event at Newmarket racecourse. When we returned to the vehicle at the end of the day, the driver had managed to run the battery down. He seemed to have no idea how to rectify it, neither did whoever he contacted at his head office. We tried to get it jump started, but nothing worked. after an hour or so of messing about, the driver informed us that a recovery vehicle was coming but would likely be another hour. We were not prepared to wait any longer and were forced to take 4 taxi's back to Peterborough at a cost to us of £400. When we lodged our complaints with the business they were extremely slow to respond, and when they did they refuted much of what actually occurred. in the end they offer an insulting £100 total compensation. Would NEVER use these rogues ever again!

Hi Andy, we take all complaints seriously & as you are aware we thoroughly investigated your complaint twice as you were not happy with the decision. Yes the driver did inadvertently leave the Lights on which drained the battery. Yes you did try to help with a jump start, but cars are 12v & coaches 24V which are not compatible. We did call recovery this was done immediately and took over an Hour. when my colleague called your group at 20:03 to advise the coach was running, you guys were still in the taxi queue and decided to continue with taxis as you would have to get taxi's in peterborough anyway. The trip to the races went with out a hitch. it was concluded that your request for a 100% refund was unreasonable along with social media blackmail if we did not do so. you could have used the coach for the return but decided to take taxis. the decision by the ops manager of £100 good will gesture was the right decision. Even though I am aware you were far from happy
Our Company requested the hire of an Executive Coach for a Client outing to Newmarket & instead received a dirty vehicle which looked like something out of the 1970's, the air conditioning & the toilet did not work & the driver driving was nothing less than scary. I have been booking 2 coaches a year for 10 years for various outings & this coach was by far the worst ever supplied

Dear Anonymous, We are very sorry the coach did not meet your expectations and are sorry if it spoiled your day in anyway, but as advised on the day your original coach was delayed on another booking which was beyond our control and last minute we had to find a partner operator to help. it was either this or no coach. The only coach we could get was our partners spare that was 10 years old. The air con did work but someone kept opening the roof vent and we all you cannot cool the world all windows and vents must be closed. The WC did function, but was locked, the driver did opening it for the return journey
Coach arrived over 1 hour late - result was 53 eighteen year olds waiting near house entrance - initial chasing phone call resulted in being told "there in 10 minutes". Sought an explanation by email a week ago - no reply from the company. Ian James 12662 - 1st July - Knutsford

Dear Ian, I have checked all the emails and I do not seem to be able to find any correspondence from you. it appears your coach was parked up in an area suitable for coaches waiting for a call. when the call came it took the driver 10 minutes to come to the pick up point. We are very sorry there was a communication breakdown and you group had to wait. it was believed your group was going to call when ready
Very unreliable, we booked our coach and paid deposit, then they cancelled in short notice and asked for more money as happens in 3rd world country. No accountability, no reliability and most importantly NOT TRUSTWORTHY.

This customer booked a coach and paid a deposit. The sales handler immediately realised she had selected 16 seat instead of 53 seat coach in error and advised the customer as soon as she spotted the mistake. The difference in cost was £500 as it was a long distance journey London to Leeds The customer accepts the revised price was very similar to other quotes he received but still wanted to pay the minibus price. Clearly this was not possible. We explained this to the customer but he announced if we did not honour his original price he would blacken our name on social media. This review should be removed as unfair and slanderous I have asked Reviews .co.uk to do this.
Shocking customer service. Owner is the rudest person I have ever had the displeasure of speaking to. Broke own T&C's. Will not use again.

We booked a coach to collect our family and ourselves to attend our wedding. The driving called us 15 minutes before being due to arrive that he will be 15 minutes late which was not a massive issue. I asked the driver at this point if he knew where he was going as we live on a new build estate but was assured he knew. Needless to say the driver didn't know where he was going and was 55 minutes late. We didn't get to play our music as we didn't have time to setup and had to rush our ceremony. The driver hasn't apologize to us at any point only mentioning that we should be lucky he turned up at all. When calling coachhire4u to complain we were told to put everything in an email to allow them to look at this..... I though you should all know hoe your likely to be treated.
