“yet to collect car but so far it all seems fine”

“I went 20 miles to collect the car and I couldn’t hire it as have 8 points on my licence but wasn’t told this.I have been called today by a lovely guy from clarify to see what happened and couldn’t apologise enough that my booking didn’t work out.Really appreciate them taking time to get in touch and talk to me not just refund or email a standard reply.Excellent customer service”

Hi Lucy, Thanks for your review and for letting us know about the issue you encountered. As discussed different car hire firms have different rules - so it's always best to check whether your license will be accepted on a case by case basis. When we are made aware that there are points involved we check directly with the desk wherever possible - as sometimes its even down to local management approval! “Service so far has been excellent. Ross answered all my questions during a Live Chat and the price of the rental is very good. I hope the process is just as easy when we pick up the car. Always concerned about those hidden ‘extras’ when you arrive at the desk but have been assured there won’t be any.”
