Perhaps not a review aimed directly at Clarify, however it was via their services I was left high and dry without a car in Zagreb. Having prebooked using a debit card option, with zero excess and paid for the additonal waiver, I was collected (late) by the company they had placed me with, driven off site to their backstreet car hire depot, then informed they would not let me take the car without me leaving a further 350 euro deposit. I was not prepared to do this so the manager told his staff my paperwork (which I had printed) was incorrect and blamed clairfy. I was then driven back and dropped at the airport. I spoke to a polite lady at clarify and was refunded my £7 deposit, however they were unable to offer me anything else until 5.30pm onwards (this was currently 1pm). I ended up paying for a taxi and two buses which took three hours and needed to do the same to get back to the airport.

Hi Luke, We could not be more devastated that you faced this situation - so much so that we have removed the company in Croatia who let you down entirely from our site. We offered the package exactly as we had been asked to by the hire firm - but you were told a different story on arrival. Whilst the hire firm have helped many other users totally successfully in the past we will not allow the possibility of a repeat of this - hence the action taken. This outcome is just so unusual - as a result of the efforts we take to avoid such instances - and we are so sorry you were impacted. The Clarify Car Hire team

I will never use again . I waited 40 mints in cold out side airport but nobody picked me up for car hire dissoppointed use taxi and get hotel there was no train spend 200£ I will suggest don't use them

We have now discussed this you directly and as we said had you let us know when you were waiting at the airport we could have fixed the situation in a number of different ways without the expense and inconvenience that then transpired.
