Chorley Bottle Gas Ltd is a family run business, established in 2003 dedicated to providing a friendly, efficient and professional service to our customers.

We deal in all aspects of bottled gas within Chorley, Horwich, Bolton, Wigan, Preston and the surrounding areas.

We are main agents for Calor Gas offering a full range of cylinder sizes in Propane, Butane and BBQ gases giving our customers a Free Same Day Delivery service.

We supply Beer and Beverage Gas (cellar gas) to many local licensed premises and home users giving our clients the only true 24/7 emergency call out service in the area. There are no cylinder rental charges, delivery charges or contracts to sign!

We are a major supplier of Helium / Balloon Gas to both the public and trade, using our own state of the art filling plant we can offer unbeatable prices in five easy to use cylinder sizes. Our huge customer base is testament to our unbeatable pricing and service.

“Perfect gas can for my camper van. Dispatched by Chorley promptly (next morning first thing even though I ordered late on a Sunday). However there were problems with the delivery company APC. I paid extra for express delivery yet it took an extra 24 hours to arrive. Not a problem from Chorley but note well if you are in prompt need and are based in the South as Chorley can't use their own delivery service.”

“waited a little bit longer for it to arrive”

Hi David, I am sorry to hear you had to wait for your item a bit longer than expected. The item was dispatched on time as promised on a 24hr tracked service with Royal Mail. I have checked your tracking and it arrived a day later than expected. Royal Mail are experiencing severe backlogs with delivery's and are extremely short staffed in some areas due to the virus pandemic. We have had tracked 24hr and 48hr delivery's that are taking up to a week to arrive. Some have gone missing completely! So to be brutally honest a day late in the current worldwide pandemic situation is not bad going ;-) Kind regards, Steve

“very satisfied with most aspects of your service. I would however liked to offer a suggestion regarding your mailing provision. When customers are ordering on line on a Friday a charge of £7.50 for a next day delivery which can not be provided I find excessive. May be (next working day) could be made a little more clear when placing orders.”

Hi Norman, Thank you so much for the review and super four star rating. We only offer a next day delivery on "Working Days", Monday to Friday and not weekends as the courier we use charges a fortune for weekend delivery's. The price of postage is set by the courier, we do not make a penny on it and may be a little higher than usual but that is due to the nature of the item they are carrying for us. The postage options do indicate that is is a "Next working day delivery". Sorry for the confusion, Cheers, Steve
