The order process was good. The delivery timescale was good, even considering it was the hottest week of the year. My 3 star review is down to the Delivery Driver: whilst I appreciated it was hot weather, it wasn’t a good professional impression to have him without T-shirt and his shorts so low… It didn’t leave a good impression and detracted from the overall experience. Thank you

Hi Debra, I am sorry you had a less than perfect experience with the delivery of your item. On this occasion, I agree with you that the appearance of our driver for your delivery was unsatisfactory. We have reprimanded him and given the driver concerned a verbal warning. We take the conduct and appearance of our drivers extremely seriously as it reflects on our company. Sorry for the upset. Price & service very competitive, although don’t expect to receive your deposit back on returning cylinders! Come across as decent honest family up front company , but completely opposite when returning your deposit,or not doing as in my case ! I would recommend not to pay in cash & obtain receipts , also scrutinise all documentation throughly, it would seem the deposit of which l paid in cash is looked upon as some sort of bonus to them as Lisa has informed me the company keep no record of these payments . Apart from being prepared to forfeit your initial deposit, delivery & service was always spot on.

Good Morning Ray, As was discussed on the telephone with you yesterday at length, we do not return any deposits without proof of a deposit being paid. You had no paperwork to show that you had paid a deposit. All customers receive an invoice with the deposit paid shown on it, whether they have paid cash or card. Customers are told on purchase not to lose it as we do not return deposits without it. No exceptions. This is also printed in big bold letters on the rear of the invoice. We are under no obligation to keep records of customers' deposits paid (on the customer's behalf) that is the responsibility of the customer. If a customer brings one of our cylinders back in for return and deposit refund and has the accompanying paperwork showing the deposit paid or even a picture on their phone, we are more than happy to do so and have done so on many many occasions. Hi Catherine, I am sorry to see that you had a issue with your item. We had a conversation on the telephone over this and it was unclear whether it was the cylinder or your regulator or your stove that was the issue. That was the last we heard from you. If it was the cylinder then like I said on the telephone we would have sent you a replacement or refunded you. We have never had one of these cylinders "not working" in all the years we have sold them.
Expected next day but received the gas on day2. However great to have ability to order a full bottle to deliver direct to home. Also assumed it would be a new bottle .

Good Morning Paul, I am a little disappointed to see that you left us a negative review. You ordered your item at 3.20pm which is after our same day dispatch cut off point of 2.30pm, so there was no way you were going to receive your item the following day. We dispatched it on time and it was delivered on time to you by our ts & cs. And all our cylinders are new, sealed and full direct from Campingaz UK. Some cylinders may show signs of scratches or wear and tear as they travel stacked in cages from Lyon France. But the end of the day they are a refillable reusable gas cylinder. To leave us a negative review seems extremely unfair. Maybe next time you may want to purchase your items elsewhere to avoid you being disappointed with our service and products. Steve
I ordered a 10L CO2 bottle for delivery last Thursday which was delivered on time, the only problem was that it was a 8L bottle that was delivered. I rang to inform you of the mistake so that there would not be a problem when I ordered the next bottle and only had a 8L to exchange.

Hi Mr Smith, I am sorry you are unhappy with your delivery and the cylinder you received. On the day of the delivery the only last remaining co2 cylinder we had here was the smaller 8/9L co2 cylinder. As you live in Inskip which is a area we very rarely deliver too (maybe once a week) we thought it best to send you the smaller cylinder rather than leave you without any c02 for at least another week. I am on the understanding this was explained to you by the driver upon delivery and everything was fine by you. Then I understand you called our office as you say to clarify matters over the smaller cylinder and future exchanges and again I am being told by my staff that this was not a issue with yourself and you were happy. If you had a issue with the smaller cylinder then you should have let us know and we would have either re-delivered you a 10L cylinder or refunded all or part of your payment back for the smaller 8/9L? We feel a little let down that you had to leave a negative review without giving us the chance to rectify the issue. When you have emptied the cylinder you have please give us a call and we will call to collect it and give you your deposit back. Kind regards, Steve
It wasn’t very full considering it was supposed to be a complete - full bottle of gas. It did arrive next day, but delivery was £7.95 so I should expect so.

Hi Anthony, I am sorry you feel you had a poor experience with your purchase from us. All our Campingaz are full and sealed when we dispatch them. If you had a issue with your cylinder then you should have contacted us and we could have addressed the issue for you rather than you leaving a negative review. The postage of £7.50 is clearly displayed on checkout so if you were not happy paying the £7.50 for next working day delivery then maybe you should have not gone ahead with your order. I bought on line next day delivery all was ok I received email to say my gas was on its way, then another identical email that said if the exchange bottle was not one of theirs it would cost £10 or I had to buy another bottle for additional £40. make sure you read all small print paid £10 got nothing had to go elsewhere

Good afternoon John, I am sorry to hear you feel aggrieved with your dealings with ourselves. But I am at a loss as to why?! You placed your order with us on line for a 12kg CALOR GAS butane cylinder exchange. We emailed you confirming the order and delivery later that day, as we do with every single order, the message below (message copied and pasted straight from your order): Order status changed from Processing to Completed. added on May 11, 2020 at 6:39 am by Steve Ball Hi , Thank you for your order. We will be calling later today to deliver your cylinder. We will need to collect an empty CALOR GAS cylinder when we call to exchange or a £40 Calor deposit will be due. We cannot take FLOGAS or any other brands of cylinder as an exchange; it must be a CALOR GAS CYLINDER. IF WE CALL AND IT IS ANY OTHER CYLINDER THAN A CALOR WE WILL NOT LEAVE YOUR GAS WITHOUT A DEPOSIT BEING PAID. AT THIS STAGE IF YOU CANCEL THE ORDER YOU WILL BE CHARGED A £10.OO NON-DELIVERY CHARGE, DEDUCTED FROM YOUR REFUND. Please let us know ASAP if this is not suitable with you. Kind regards, Steve 01257 795700 When we arrived to exchange cylinders you had a empty FLOGAS cylinder which it plainly says in no uncertain terms, in big bold capital letters, in the above message we cannot exchange! You did not want to pay the Calor Refill Agreement charge as previously informed about in the message, so we left having a wasted trip. We refunded your payment minus the £10 surcharge to cover fuel and time as stated would be the case in the email we sent above. Not small print as you state but a email sent straight to you which you either did not see, chose to ignore or you thought you could try to pull a fast one exchanging a Flogas cylinder for a Calor cylinder. It is not for me to judge on that, but they are the facts. Our apologies for the upset, Steve
The service and Chorley kept me up to date with delivery was good. I would however say the bottle was nothing like the picture advised, as it was quite old, a bit dented and a lot of rust on it.

Hi Wayne, I am sorry to hear you were not happy with your Campingaz cylinder you received. We always want our customers to feel they have received great service and a value for money product. We do state on the listings quite clearly that the image is for illustrative purposes only and the cylinder you receive may have rust and signs of wear and tear. It is after all a reusable gas cylinder and delivered to your door nationwide for £47.50. The condition of the cylinders we send out depends on what stock we hold at that time, which can vary considerably . We always try to send out the best condition cylinders to our website orders as a priority. But due to the Coronavirus lock down and supplier delivery issues at the moment our stock of mint unmarked cylinders has depleted and we only have marked cylinders in stock. We are expecting a delivery early this week of fresh mint cylinders direct from Campingaz. Once you have emptied the cylinder and take it to your local stockist for a exchange you will more than likely receive a fresh new unmarked cylinder albeit you will probably pay just as mush for that exchange as we have charged you for a complete cylinder delivered to your door..with some rust on...... ;-) Kind regards, Steve

Hi David, I am sorry you feel you let down with your delivery. The reason you didn't get next day delivery was explained to you by phone by the girls in our office.. You ordered on a Friday evening for delivery on Saturday but the area you live in is on a delivery run that we only pass once or twice a week and not on Saturdays I am afraid.
