We deal in all aspects of bottled gas within Chorley, Horwich, Bolton, Wigan, Preston and the surrounding areas.

We are main agents for Calor Gas offering a full range of cylinder sizes in Propane, Butane and BBQ gases giving our customers a Free Same Day Delivery service.

We supply Beer and Beverage Gas (cellar gas) to many local licensed premises and home users giving our clients the only true 24/7 emergency call out service in the area. There are no cylinder rental charges, delivery charges or contracts to sign!

“Disappointed with the delivery, soaking wet box, no tools (screwdriver) and battery for ignition. We had to provide both.”

Hi John, We are sorry to see you are disappointed with your delivery. The Lifestyle Seasons Warmth portable gas heater does not come with a screwdriver or battery - it wasn't advertised that it would. Our website states the accessories included are the hose and 21mm regulator, it does not state that either of the two accessories you have mentioned are. We can only assume there is a bit of confusion as to what was thought to be included. As for the soaking wet box, there is no excuse for this we can only apologise. Kind Regards Steve.

“The delivery driver was a bit surly, particularly when my wife asked him to put the bottle, and collect empty bottle from the rear garden. Twice this company has refused to collect the old company bottle,clearly stating the owner as Chorley bottle gas! I will eventually take it to waste disposal.”

I am sorry you were not happy with your delivery and felt it necessary to leave a two star negative review. We will put you on our collection only list if you like to save any further issues with delivery's in the future? The free delivery service we offer is a door step delivery by instructions of our insurance company. It is the drivers own choice and decision as to how far beyond the doorstep delivery he will place /drop/ fit the cylinder. Usually our driver(s) are more than accommodating and are happy to follow your requests. You must have either upset him or caught him on a bad day. Either way I apologise for his less than happy attitude. Regarding your "old bottle". I assume that the cylinder you are referring to is a Calor Gas branded cylinder. It is not a cylinder we "own". We were merely agents for Calor Gas Ltd. They remain the owners of those cylinders. We have not supplied Calor Gas for nearly three years now. As you know we now agents for Harris Gas. We are not contractually and legally allowed to put Calor Gas branded cylinders on our vans. If we do so then we run the risk of a court case and being sued. This will have been explained to you if not on this occasion then on the "previous" occasion. Likewise you should have been informed that you can drop the cylinder at our shop where Calor Gas will collect them from or if you wish feel free to take it to the waste disposal. Cheers, Steve

“Felt very let down as the system of notifying me whether item was in stock was never processed, and therefore I had a wasted half day and 30 mile round trip. The only good thing was that the refund was dealt with quickly.”

Good Morning Paul, I am sorry you had a poor experience with your online order. The issue was that you called into our shop shortly after we opened on a Monday morning to collect your "click and collect" order you placed over the weekend. You did not wait till you received confirmation of order or click and collect instructions. As with any online retailer if you place a click and collect order then one would assume that it would not be ready for collection till you receive confirmation and instructions. You did not give us time to process your order as we were working our way through processing dozens of other orders that were stacked up from the weekend that had landed before yours. When you select the click and collect option on our website once we process the order you will receive an email with a confirmation of the order, an emailed invoice and instructions for your click and collect. “You are excellent. APC however are not. I still haven't received product. They claimed they turned up yesterday and attempted delivery. There were two of us awaiting the delivery and no on came round. I can not contact them by phone as the number is out of service and they won't respond to emails. The only delivery I can get now is Friday. I have little faith that it will arrive then. Use a different delivery company. APC are shocking.”

“Delivery was quick , however the order and rcipt paperwork stated what I ordered? 1/4 Bsp to 8mm tail , to fit 8mm Orange rubber gas pipe. What I received was not the same make and design in the advert picture, however needs must and stock availability etc is a consideration for all businesses at the moment. However what they sent me was a 3/8 to 10mm O/D fitting to fit 10mm bore diameter rubber pipe ? I suppose I could pop it up my Jackson and toot " Sweet Dixie " , for what use its worth. Its my understanding that 8mm is the total width of the Barb on the tail piece? The total diameter to slide into the rubber pipe, not the bore of the tail piece tube? The Bsp fits a Rothenberg 3/8 joiner so it must be a 3/8 instead of the smaller 1/4 Bsp like most garages use etc on their cpl compressed airlines etc to power air tools.”

“The Gas Bottle was OK but having been charged £5 for 24 hour next working day delivery I was very disappointed that it took three days from ordering to arrive. I think I should be refunded the £5.”

Good Morning Paul, I am sorry you were disappointed with your delivery and felt the need to leave a negative review. I have looked at our system to see what has gone on. You order came through to us at : Payment via Card Payment on May 4, 2021 @ 1:53 pm. Which is after our 1.30pm cut off point for same day dispatch. So we dispatched your item the following morning on the 5th for delivery on the 6th as we always do. Looking at the courier tracking info (supplied below) they only delivered it on the 7th - a day late. I dont know why and I have no explanation for that and all I can do is apologise on their behalf. These couriers are a law onto them selves sometimes but we are stuck with them because of the nature of the product. But to be frank, paying £5 for delivery of this particular item is a bargain- whether it is next day or three days. The postage costs us £10 plus VAT. We subsidise the postage ourselves to make the delivery more affordable. Maybe for your own peace of mind next time you require one of these items you may want to go to a local stockist like go outdoors and purchase it there and pay upwards of £75 compared to the £50 to us you paid with doorstep delivery - even though on this occasion it took a day longer than planned ....?!
